Oooh! Can't wait to hear more about this. I'm hoping it's a Dreamworks land (Or LOTR, but that seems unlikely)

I'm hoping for Dreamworks as well! Though as long as E.T. Adventure gets to stay... And it would be a good reason to get rid of Shrek 4-D or at least move it.

Why do people hate HRRR?? just because of the themeing or what?..the coaster itself is amazing and is always a thrilling adrenaline rush. There is way to many people on here complaining about way to many things. How do you guys actually enjoy going on here? or actually enjoy the theme park itself?..when your complaining about things that arent even done yet?..such as the Transformers facade. Like Disneyhead said you should be concentrating on how committed Universal was on getting this attraction done at such a great pace for all of us. We definitely should be way more positive about certain things ESPECIALLY like some people have said..IT'S NOT DONE YET. Let's try thinking about how AMAZING Optimus Prime is gonna look in front of the entrance! or how impressive the RIDE and queue is gonna be! And if for some reason in the end this attraction leaves us all disappointed..look on the bright side..WE GOT HP 2.0, Springfield, JP expansion, the major refurb and apparently now a Kid Zone refurb if thats not already the major planned refurb lol ALL COMING IN THE NEAR FUTURE! so let's try and actually enjoy what we talk about on these forums.

To be fair, HRRR has other issues other than the themeing.

Yeah, that thing is broken down way too often for its age. Not to mention how rough on my body the ride has been sometimes. But I see your point. The Transformers building is a behemoth, so I don't understand what everyone expected it would've stuck out no matter what. And if they themed that thing 360 degrees it would've cost ALOT. I'd rather they spend that money elsewhere.

I'm hoping Uni rethemes the front of the park anyway and replace's the "soundstage" look for a more classy one seeing how it's no longer a working movie studio. I never liked the idea of seeing the show buildings.

There's a difference between complaining and critiquing. There's no need to coat everything with pixie dust. Not everything will always be amazing. But it's not the end of the world, and it's not forsaking Universal when somebody points that out.

I am definitelly down with the autobot logo being on the building, & I see there are a couple more pegs that werent there before, the suspense is killing me!

& if I had a choice between a spectacular exterior that would take longer to build therefore having the ride open months later, or riding it sooner than later with a mediocre exterior, I'll more than happily take the latter. I mean if it means they might be able to open it up MONTHS ahead of schedule in exchange for a more complex design, than I think thats a much better alternative.

Also, I know that movie director/Theme Park attraction designer Gary Goddard invented & patented the scoop ride vehicle & technology that they are also using for Transformers. Aside from that, does anyone know if he was involved directly in any way in the creative process for Trandformers?

Yes.

If you think HRRR has issues you need to see in person what Hollywood Dream does to USJ. Nobody complains about Hollywood Dream, because it is a fun, small B&M. If HRRR would have been what was originally expected, including expected capacity, I don't think people would be so dour on it, or its visual impact. I am not overly nostalgic, and I have to say that the music plaza with a coaster behind it is much nicer than the boneyard. It is much more streamlined now. It's just too bad the coaster can be very, very rough and that they had to impact GBHQ/Library.

I don't think so simply because his company wasn't involved. The only people I know UC worked with were Bay and ILM.

...Might be stretching everything a bit here, I looked on Google, didn't get what I want so anyone with knowledge (Who's posts I can see) are any of the transformers buildings previously built themed with the E7 bar coding thing? Is this the only Transformers building visible in any park from all 4 sides?

The building is coming along quite nicely. Those holes cut out of the fake columns are for.speakers. In the press event on November 1st Coup and Woodbury did say that the exterior will be a mix of Hollywood and Singapore and that's the look that the building is resembling so far. It's a sci-fi styled warehouse/military base. It looks good to me even though there still is ALOT of themeing to still be installed on the.building. I think we're looking at a couple of more months until the.finished product starts really taking shape. As far as pegs on the building goes...I've always only counted 8. Four on the lagoon side and four on the side facing Mels.

I think this will look sweet at night.

Now the big question, how will they disguise those garage doors!

LOL!

I've tried to like this ride. I really have. Aside from the music aspect, it is garbage. I've ridden about 200 different roller coasters and this one is definitely not in my top 50.

It's big and ugly...it should never have been built by anyone other than B&M or Intamin...it has poor capacity...lots of downtime...it's rough most rides...and it intrudes on the theming of its surroundings.

I would've torn this thing down after the lawsuit and used the money I won to build a better ride.

- - - Updated - - -

I'm betting those pegs on the side of the Transformers building will be for either Autobot logos, or TF the ride murals/signage.

While I don't care for the industrial look, at least they're doing something with it. If it were me I would have spent the dough to add New York style facades and Hollywood facades...

Thank you Universal for a new ride, and a lot of attention being poured into a dull park.

Can we atleast all agree on this and WAIT until they finish the themeing to rip it to shreds?

Before the various expansions, i would have called USF a bit dated. However in the last five or so years they have really invested to bring a fresh new approach to the park. Hopefully the keep up the good work.

 Youve missed the point entirely.

But since its come up, you dont like big thrills right? I remember you said that somewhere, so automatically USF will stand out to you. When I said dull I meant, dated, and yes I agree theyre doing alot WHICH is why I said lets be thankful.

To try and murmur these annoying complaints about a building that JUST started getting its theme. Lord Almighty, be grateful we're getting a ride.

Yea yea I know "if you dont like the complaints dont read"...well Im holding out for information in the midst of almost everyone's whining.
