Transformers: The Ride - Summer 2013

Reminds me of those model kits of planes I used to have as a kid where You get the decal transfers on a sheet!

I think it looks cartoony with the over the top decals. And it screams "TRANSFORMERS!" from what ever direction you look at it from. I like it. It will look even more cartoony when they add 2 giant robots.

There's going to be 2? I thought only Optimus Prime was going up on the building?

Yea, but T2 is tucked back into a corner and completely nondescript. Not a giant building in the middle of the park. I don't buy that they would have built it and themed it well and no one would have been able to find it.

Oh, I know. And I also would've preferred if the building had theming that resembled the existing NY facades. But, it is a good point that Creative might have decided to theme it this way, not just because it's probably less expensive, but also because it stands apart and makes it more of a focal point in the area. Yeah, there could've been other ways to theme it so it fits in better with the surroundings, while also making it stand out, but we can't always have it our way It's not my favorite, but it works for Transformers, and there's no crazy murals or fatheads, so I'm at peace with it

From watching Popsong1 latest construction vid, the bumblebee cutout on the construction wall now has "coming soon" on it. Just to let you know.

Will Bumblebee be just a copy of the one from Singapore or something totally new?

Totally agree, I think it would be a little more dramatic of a build up if they did. However I can see why they chose bumblebee, I feel he's a little more marketable to the masses. Especially the young ones.

There is a Bumblebee statue on the top of the Transformer entrance at Universal Studios Singapore.

IMO Megatron should be hanging off the catwalk ready to pounce/fire on Prime and Bee.
