Transformers: The Ride - Summer 2013

Does anyone know if they are cycling the ride.I assume they are.Can you hear it from the gift shop?
I guess the ride doesn't move if one of those roll up doors is open?
march 23 is the first day of spring break blackout (for power pass) is there a chance softs might start then and Grand Opening will be July 1st since month long blackout of the Studio's starts then.I realize any opinion or inside info can change if something goes wrong with ride (they already have one running that should have got the bugs out)

I am trying to plan for this summer but without the information it is hard to know when to book rooms
plus room rates will go up when the hotels figure this out (more people in town = higher rates)

They are "cycling" but they are far, far from cycling a full compliment of cars, and are still hitting snags with vehicle testing as far as I know. There will not be softs in March, and most likely none in April as well. I had said this sometime last week, but don't be surprised if there are no, or very little, soft openings for TF. They're really pushed up against the clock right now. I would expect the ride to be open well before July though.

Alright. I wasn't sure if you were looking for a completely different approach, like a simple looking soundstage. Facades could have really made this an incredible show building.

Regardless of how its themed, I think it would always stick out due to the massiveness of the building.

Oh, it was always going to stick out. I just wish they made more of an effort to make it look good.

Actual facades. The idea of the NEST facility doesn't bother me at all. Just the lazy/haphazard way they went about it.

For me, when I look at the building, it breaks commandment #6: Avoid Overload.

Nothing about the building looks cohesive to me. I get the impression that someone Googled TF and then industrial and they just threw everything they found at the building.

I love some things, like the lift doors. And I hate others like the absurd catwalk.

Symmetry and balance would've been a good start.

Ugh... Where's that dented panel? I'm starting to wonder if these guys know what they're doing.

It's across from the Mel's bathrooms. I just recently noticed it, I have no idea what happened. :shrug:

:doh: I feel like this ride is going to open up with that dent still in place, that wooden box still sitting next to the conduit, and the tops of the building beams not colored with that strip of white paint..

What is with that wooden box? It looks as though it was placed there as a mockup but I would think we were way past that stage.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot to mention/point out that some of the columns dont have the white border pianted on them, even on the seemingly finished HRRR/DM side.

Thanks for the update, HTF! :thumbs: Glad to see they're fixing the column issue, and putting columns on both sides of each corner of the building. I wonder how they'll handle the bottom part of the new columns since they don't match up with the existing shape of the bulding in that part... Time will tell!

Yeah, that is a bunch of crap. Hadn't they figured this out in the plans from 9 months ago? Bad show.

I know anything Marvel will be complicated now because of Disney but what about a 20-30 min preview show of Spiderman: turn off the dark? It would be good to give people a taste of it and then in turn they'd want to see it when in NYC.

hmmm not a bad idea..but i think i would love to see that big building turned into an attraction..but i don't have a whole lot of ideas for a ride.

FYI: You know that Nassal is maxed out when KHS&S shows up on site finishing details. The last time that I recall seeing them was to rebuild the facade of the firehouse for HRRR.
