Wow, what does everyone do for a living where they can roll on up to a theme park in the middle of a weekday on the hopes of a soft opening!?!

I'm holding hope on a 12p soft. If nothing much, then I'll go do rides and check back.

I really wouldn't hang around the ride until about 5 or 6pm since the park closes at 10 today. They probably won't run/open for more than a few hours today.

I noticed last night that TF was dispatching RVs with about twice the interval of USH's version. Maybe only 1 of the 2 elevator pairs is currently working? Anyone know?
In case you didn't know, each elevator in TF actually has two separate lifts, so one can carry a RV to the next floor while the other resets for the next RV.

I was thinking that too, but I would guess they want to try to have it open for most of.the day tomorrow, the first day of the Summer Concert Series. So, I believe they may want to see if they can run it for a longer duration today.

The parks don't operate on a 9-5 office schedule, so there's a good amount of decent paying jobs (not to mention all the hourly entry-level jobs) that don't keep 9-5 M-F schedules as well, and they aren't all with the parks either.

I am not disappointed at all, just a little surprised at HOW similar to Spider-man it is. It goes beyond using the same ride system and 3D integration. They use a lot of the same action, effects, audio cues, and vehicle motion.

that said, it is still an amazing attraction. And a wonderful bonus E Ticket while we wait for Potter.

Exactly. I'm happy the ride is at UO and it's a great addition. I'm just saying, from an artistic angle, it would have been nice if the designers challenged themselves more (for the benefit of the entire industry) to be a little more innovative with the story beats.

In other words, the downside is that all we got is a new version of the best ride ever.

The ride is pretty similar to spiderman, but significantly more intense and in your face. I actually forgot I was on a ride the first few times I rode this.

Great attraction, great use of the space, and considering nothing of value was lost to build this, a 100% net gain for the park.

My girlfriend lost her voice screaming on this; we had a really fun car that were all screaming to be fair. She's a spiderman veteran too, having been on the ride over 50 times.

This is perfect to describe the complaints happening here. I don't think anybody is actually upset about the ride being similar, just slightly disappointed. And I mean slightly in the slightest sense of the word.

It's crazy to think that the ride will have its grand opening exactly 365 days after demolition began.
