I just heard the strangest rumor! A ride utilizing the Spiderman/Transformers ride system. It is to be called something like "Universal's New York City" And the only detail I have been told is the ending is going to be a massive throwdown between Kong and Stay-Puft the Marshmallow Man.

Sounds LEGIT.

Here's an idea I'd like to throw out. Spirit is insisting that it's not TF. Says everyone he's talked to says that isn't coming to Orlando. Now, he's been mislead before, and he can be spreading some disinformation...

But what if it's a "clone" of TF with a new skin. Same track and same screen layout with a different theme on it?

That would definitely make the most sense if it's not TF. And Teebin did say it's going to be a large 2 story building, so it could even have the lift like TF. And no other property they have would really make sense.

I just don't see them using Madagascar outside of KidZone. But I guess anythings possible.

Well, if the entrance faces New York, as I am expecting, it would fit in with the surroundings since they're from the Central Park Zoo.

It would definitely work. I just meant I'd be surprised since it's widely assumed KidZone is the next thing to being going under the knife. But then again, it works in New York like you said and even Production Central since its currently home to Shrek and DM. Idk.

Ok here is what I know. Last year a rock solid source told me kong was coming back. I thought that it might mean an overlay of disaster or something like that. Maybe this is the fruit of that story, or maybe it is something different... I haven't put pressure on anyone I can ask mainly because this time of year .... Busy summer is when my friends are working insane hours managing the parks. So once late August sept rolls around hopefully I will be able to reconnect.

I can't even imagine how awesome a BTTF ride would be using the Transformers ride concept. There's SO much potential there. I'm dreaming of course...

Yea, I remember him just saying that Universal was going "back to the future" or something of the like. When someone asked him about it he kind of just shrugged and said he was messing with people a little.

But he was seemingly serious about Kong.

My bet is on Kong, as it's an attraction that plainly belongs at Universal, and it should have never been removed in the first place. It's also probably a lot cheaper/easier to build then say Transformers. I am sure that the new Potter area will cost a lot of money, I just can't see Universal building another E ticket attraction so close to Potter.

It's also probably a lot cheaper/easier to build then say Transformers. I am sure that the new Potter area will cost a lot of money, I just can't see Universal building another E ticket attraction so close to Potter.

Well, a Kong attraction would be an E-ticket...
