I don't know about the new Transformers movie script. The section I read went something like:

Glinda: "Are you a Good Bot, or a Bad Bot?"
Kukabot: "Baby, why don'tcha take me for a ride and I'll show ya how good I can be"

I get it now. Transformers will be Kuka arm ride technology. The story is, the Autobots and Decepticons are swept up by a tornado and land in Oz. The Decepticons teams up with the Wicked Witch of the West and her Flying Monkeys to destroy Oz, Dorothy, and the Autobots. All the while singing songs from Wicked. Hm, interesting concept. LoL.

And King Kong is the leader of the flying monkeys. That's a big part of the ride.

Dag, I forgot to add that in. The best part though is when oz reveals himself at the end of the ride. Just another Stark creation. :)

So either DH is messing with us, or dropping a lot of hints.

So far we have Harry, KUKA arms, Peter (either Jackson or Parker), Transformers, and Wizard of Oz/Wicked. Am I missing anything?

From what I was told, yep. Pretty much a direct clone of the Hollywood ride with Kuka arm ride vehicles. Tests recently completed on the Busbar track in CA left UniCreative in the mood to tear down a building.

While that would be awesome...I just don't see it working. Capacity would seemingly be a nightmare here, no? I mean, if the timing is the same, we'll have 8 people loading in the time it usually takes 24 to load in Hollywood...

Nope, they could use the same magic carpet system they have in FJ which has made the ride a capacity sponge, seemingly able to handle anything. That magic carpet system is anything short of well...MAGICAL!

But if this is truly the case, it means we'll be getting a whole new Transformers experience because in the Hollywood and Singapore versions we are in a scoop that is an autobot, unless we are riding in the "hand" of an autobot and carrying us around would be the best way it could work.

I would imagine that if they could double the seating from 4 to 8 by using a larger Kuka arm than potter's and shorten dispatch times by using a Magic Carpet load area like potter's they could just about break even with the numbers they getting now.

Yea, but Potter's cars are also in a constant set of motion. Transformers's scoops slow down/speed up, making the magic carpet unreasonable.

ah..I missed the "bot" part of the riddle.

My question is why bother using KUKA arms if we are getting a carbon copy of the ride show? Wouldn't that just make it more expensive/harder to re-develop? Would it actually change the ride experience enough to warrant it?

I don't see the need, or advantage to changing the ride system either. If it ain't broke...

I will say that I just got an email from a friend with a really solid track record that says that it is 100% NOT Transformers. So I am befuddled.

The person who told me about the Kuka arm rumor also has a pretty good track record.

I am wondering if Universal is just messing with us/me?

And still no permit....

They'll have a clear plot of land and won't be able to do anything.
