Transformers: The Ride - Summer 2013

Did a quick visit today and wanted to share what I saw. The entire old foundation is gone as is the old sidewalks and parts of the streets. They are nearly done ripping up the ground directly next to Monsters by the park. Also they have begun digging a long wide trench about 2 ft deep all along the back side of monsters. The entire site is almost nothing but flat dirt as dump trucks are brining in dirt and leaving with small amounts of the remaining rubble. Sorry no photos of the site as security seems to almost recognize me

I have prior commitments Saturday morning but I will try my best to get over there in the afternoon for some photos. If for some reason I can't make it, I already have it penciled in for next weekend.

I just don't want to dress up as a Pennslyvania QB as that would attract the wrong type of crowd. You know the DUI charged, drug infused, dog murdering, gambling, point shaving, cheating, sexual assaulting, and male and female prostitute having type crowd.

Yup I have been like 5 times in the last 10 days and as soon as I get close its like they know. Of course I am not trying to blend with a huge bulky camera and zoom lens wrapped around my neck. On my next trip I will take pictures of and hopefully with security.

It is completely unclear on that front. That may sound bogus to some of you but really, that is Mark Woodbury kind of info. Park ops might get a two week heads up for a stage and mics. Entertainment might get even shorter notice. All depends on if it is rushed or planned.

More newsy. Rhino pay attention. And thank you for your post JS... it is a great hopping off point for this. Why is Universal in such a rush... why was this demolition out of the blue? A Himalayan Kikoo-Kikoo told me that it is because the Uni moneymen told them to spend some big bucks yesterday or Uncle Sam will be taking them to the cleaners tomorrow. Even with all that is going on, all that is being spent, it appears Uni is doing a tad too well in the piggy bank. This isn't just a new attraction, it is a solution too.

Alright, just got back from UNI and I have a few pictures. I did what I could with what I had (ipod) and a full in depth report of what I saw. So give me a few minutes and boom, we'll keep on track of not knowing a thing
