ReelJustice. HOW are they able to say that a portion of SS44 will be dismantled??? Portion??? I don't even see a "particle".

Who knows? The actual demolition permit called for the whole thing though. And the bs they fed Jason Garcia was either PR speak or ignorance.

PR speak as we initially expected. Wanted to hide that something big was coming.

Nice centering. Great pics too. What was that crane lifting in the first picture? It looked wide.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/82436014@N02/sets/72157630550056230/ Took some great shots today. Even got one with the gates open. Also some Amity damn in there for good measure.

Also that crane looks to be about the same height as the Rockit tower.

I do believe that may be sheet pile drivers on the flatbed.

Left = Crane or excavator mounted pile driver.
Center = Mobileram pile driver. This mounts on a specialty track vehicle that has yet to arrive on site.
Right = Driver power unit.

OF, can you confirm this.

Can someone help me understand these elevators in the Transformers ride, I never followed construction very closely in California. They aren't part of the ride per say... So is the majority of the ride on the second floor soley for the purpose of saving space....que and loading station on the first floor? If so that's a hell of a lot of weight on the second floor....... I'll be interested to see the framework. Again help me out here if I'm way off. Thanks

^ Someone pull up the steel work pics of California. The building looked like a train trestle before it was skinned. It is basically 1/2 show per floor.

Thanks, the second floor looks like it has a higher ceiling clearence than the bottom. I'm guessing most of the higher intensity scenes happen on the second floor where there is more room for the RV to move vertically and larger sets/screens? WOW that structual framing means business. It looks like it could hold the space shuttle... Are there interior support frames as well on the first a second floors?

Edit: I see interior support for the elevator shafts in cruiseships pics, thanks

The first floor goes partially underground, that's why the ceiling appears lower. I doubt that the FL version would go underground because of the water table issue. It would likely be all above ground.

From reviews I've read, you don't feel them at all.
