So, Harry Potter, Popeye, and Rip Ride Rockit at Universal Orlando Resort then?

A continuously moving ride. Huge capacity eaters because they are always loading and never stop (save for disabled guests).

No. Omnimovers have almost no variation in movement. Think Haunted Mansion.

Ok... there aren't going to be any omnimovers in the place of old Sound Stage 44. So... the only thing to wonder about now is where will the big entrance be. I would aim for an angle at the lagoon and Mel's... but I ain't going to push to find out. I like surprises too.

^ it would be the best location to draw crowds to a dead zone.

Pretty genius to have a ride that is smart enough to go from 1 floor to the next without the rider even knowing it happened. That's a hell of a space saver.

I hope it is a design philosophy they continue to utilize. All four Universal parks are pretty well land locked and the only way to increase the attraction count is to be creative with the use of space. It will also only help to build the character of the parks as they are given layers atop each other.

I have to disagree. If a 3D show is done right in a theme park setting, it can do things no common theater does. There's nothing wrong with a good 3D show in the parks. Now when it's something like Shrek or EO, go ahead and burn it to the ground. But if an attraction is of good quality, I don't want to lose it.

Off topic, Shrek is awesome and I don't care what anyone else thinks.

You seem to be one of the few. I think I know one other person with the same opinion, but then again, she also adores Barney....

I'd also like to chime in and say I thoroughly enjoy Shrek 4D. That is all.

I wouldn't say I don't enjoy it, but I certainly don't love it either...

The film is okay, but it's also on DVD and the internet now. The building and everything else is terrible though. So that's why I think it's expendable.

This sums up my feelings as well, and I truly hadn't even known about the DVD until about six months ago...

I do it once everytime I go and never do it again on the trip... if I want to go see a 3d movie(minus the effects) i'd shell out the money to go see a 3d movie in theaters lol

Well Hollywood has quite a bit of land now that the residential district proposal fell through, so hopefully that land goes to the park and the studio, instead of being wasted on houses that don't benefit them (causes only issues)

Actually, I'm speaking of a 50 year old woman, but that is besides the point.

I really enjoy Shrek too, but even if I didn't I have 7 and 9 year old sons. It's kinda non negotiable for me, we're going on Shrek several times each trip.

You know not enjoying Shrek will get you some time in the dungeon, and a flogging right?

The one time I've been on Shrek, I enjoyed the pre-show and the theming significantly better than the actual show. Once that show got started, ughh.
