Sweet Jesus, Universal and Apple are just plowing towards the primal spot in their respective industries!

Touché. Apple seems to continue to act upon what makes sense, but delays their progression until they've refined it to something presentable enough that it seems brand-new, though there's nothing wrong with that. But Universal is surprising us, giving us what we are pleading for, respecting the laws of themed attraction creation, but using both IPs and new ideas to drive the resort to the top of the theme park pyramid in ways previously unimaginable.

Is it weird that I burst into a fit of maniacal laughter a moment ago? My God, this pace is absolutely astonishing.

Something is telling me that they are paying for extra crew members with some Potter Money.

Oh, I have no doubt toward that theory. The shifts these guys are working must be tremendous.

Under construction right now in Orlando: Transformers, Potter in both USF and IOA, Cabana Bay, Antarctica, FLE, DVC@GF, and F! benches. Not to mention the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center downtown. And they should be breaking ground on iDrive Live this week. Does anyone know if they have started work over at Fun Spot?

Just got home... working on the photos for FTN...

Those appear to be practically against the road, which by the way the road next to Shrek is completely closed off now for a portable crane and more materials to be staged... This building is truly massive!

And they say the iPhone 5 will increase the GDP. I think construction jobs in Florida might help out too.

btw... what is the diff between this new Phillips and the Bob Carr other than it being newer?

Haven't thought about how this would change the view from Mel's before. Interesting.

Theoretically, the vertical steel that you see there is the first of three upward. So step back, stack two more in your minds eye and you have the height of the building.

Any idea what those massive concrete cube things on the trailer were for?

So will this end up blocking the view of Rip Ride RockIt? That would be a nice bonus.

I had no idea, They were lifted into the construction site though... I guess something to do with the lower level, maybe drainage or the elevator shafts?

Rode HRRR today and got a great view at the size of this project. I've met my HRRR ride quotia for the next quarter.
