Now that we’ve gotten the SFMM announcement, I have to ask: Is there any chance that Universal could attempt to build another dueling coaster? Or did Dueling Dragons ruin that chance forever?
I thought Minecraft was declining?Minecraft is the only video game (other than Nintendo) that has a chance. But that doesn’t mean that we’ll see it.

It's the reason it stopped dueling in the first place...Fill me in?

Universal Dragon Challenge: Universal's Dragon Challenge coasters won't 'duel' again - tribunedigital-orlandosentinel
Universal absolutely does not *want* metal detectors on their rides.Couldn’t that problem be fixed in the future, by adjusting the ride layout and adding metal detectors?
They'll never build a coaster that goes over guest paths or duels ever again, IMO. The don't want to keep putting metal detectors on rides, especially in their new, shiny park

SFMM?
Then people are going to keep bringing stuff on the rides. Guest pathways aren’t the only problem here. The items can get in the ride gears, liter the dark ride paths, etc.
Oh, I thought it was something important that Universal announced.Six Flags Magic Mountain. They just got a dueling launched coaster themed to racing cars.

Or just tear the dang thing down. It’s so unreliable.Hulk and RockIt will be the only coasters Universal wants with metal detectors. I'm sure once RockIt becomes unbearable to maintain they will probably rework the layout to avoid guest areas at all costs.
The average lifespan of a steel coaster is 20 years. So we're already half way there.Or just tear the dang thing down. It’s so unreliable.
The less metal detectors in the park, the better.
