I would agree, but that doesn't do anything for the short term, Currently USF offers nothing for under 5s except a bench on the minion ride and aged animal actors show. Hardly an attractive prospect for people with young families (though I'am aware that IOA has more and that universal might not care).

Quite honestly, im not sure what the passive aggressiveness is about. But yes its for around a year (we think) What is your point? Given I said my "hope" was they offer something to young children. Even once the new kid zone opens (which we assume is dreamworks related and not illumination), I still hope the new minons land offers something to children under the age of 5. Or am I not allowed to hope that?

My hope is that there is a 6th problem being solved, I hope that either between the main ride and/or in the minion cafe they have some level of covered childs play area (under 5s) which is obviously missing in USF now the kids zone is gone.

I wouldn't be surprised if it had it, it's basically an omnimover and doubt it will have the same demand as a Veloci or Potter ride

I don’t that’s necessarily true considering this is a family attraction so I expect it to be more popular all around.

It's effectively a capacity swap of Shrek 4D, which had Express. Every ride except the Potter ones and Veloci have had it at open so I'm expecting it here too.

Veloci and Potter are "destination" attractions where people will travel to the park just to ride those rides. I don't expect the same to be true for Villain Con and would be surprised if it didn't have Express out of the gate

Probably way less since the belt will probably run a bit slower. The reason why Disney invented the omnimover system was because they couldn't control how fast guests move between each scene in the original Haunted Mansion concept. Villain Con is sort of a marriage between both versions.

No idea how fast they plan on running the belt, but we can assume:

• If it's running at Haunted Mansion's speed, which is somewhere around ~4 secs, 900 guests an hour.
• If it's running 2 secs slower than HM, 600 an hour.

*This is assuming "one person per spot" taking the place of an Omnimover vehicle.

Belt holds a little over 100 people at a time. Another person will step on every few seconds as someone is stepping off at the end. It will be continuously eating people every few seconds.

I don’t know how many seconds between people exactly so I don’t claim to know what the hourly capacity would be, but I think the total belt holds over 100 people at a time.

I guess at 3 to 4 mins per ride that could mean around 2000 people an hour, but I’m not great at numbers. Just know I wouldnt Underestimate this thing’s ability to actually eat people non stop if everything is working as planned, even if it is moving slowly.

I think if we knew less about the space this is using, our expectations for the ride system, etc… and they just opened this unannounced, we’d be beyond impressed it’s essentially a small dark ride.

Knowing about this for quite some time tho I continue to be intrigued, yet still not convinced yet I’ll enjoy this lol. I don’t think capacity will be an issue though.

Minion Mayhem still draws crowds so this should spread those out, and I expect Minion Cafe to be very popular. If open for Breakfast too and lunch/dinner, there’s enough going on to spread the crowds out post the opening rush.

If what you are saying is the goal for capacity metrics, they would have to have people join the belt every 2 secs. Not impossible, but you know how people are.

I really love this ride system, mainly because it seems like its a pretty good people eater and takes up less space for an attraction

If this comes to USH then cool but really hope Metriod, Splatoon or Luigi Mansion gets a reskin of this over in Hollywood and Japan

Makes a lot of sense, they want a people eater to counter DM being bad at capacity. It is really smart, also when it comes to grouping you just keep going "you are next", as I assume lines will merge beforehand. I am very intrigued by this ride!

Probably more than 100 if capacity can be affected by the size of the human. Can you fit 2 little ones in the space of one person, or will everyone have to stand on their dot.
