1) Intamin. 2) Premier. 3) Mack. Maybe Gerstlauer, but it's doubtful.

Duh... I already know that premier was in that other building for testing recently. And something I haven't told you... they were going through something called "mass testing" recently and I was lead to believe it was for 722. But I do not know for certain that those specifics are connected.

Oh i wish. Or premier would be good too.

I could see this being a Gerstlauer Eurofighter. The trains seem articulated from the images, but it would require a large tower to enclose the lift.

They already have a relationship with Premier in Revenge of the Mummy. It will be interesting to see who they go with.

I'd just really love to see another Intamin in Florida. Intamin is totally underrepresented in the South.

Well, are you citing Vekoma due to the Everest-like fast track switches Universal patented recently?

Sorry to bring this back to the one/two park ticket debate, but would it be too much of a low blow to just require a 2 park ticket to board the train? Sure some people might want to see it that only have access to one park but at the same time more people would be upset when they get there just to realize they have to go back.

No... it was offered to me by a friend when I asked what Gringotts might be... not thinking or remembering that I already might have part if not all the puzzle. I am absent minded and very train of thought. I make a terrible waiter.

Considering Universal's seemingly cozy relationship with Premier, I would be surprised if it would be anyone but them for Gringotts.

That fast track switch patent was for Forbidden Journey.

This is what I was thinking as well at first, but this thread made me realize it would probably be really hard to advertise an attraction that is located "In the park you are not in at the present time."

I doubt the One Day, One Park pass would be totally eliminated, but more suppressed. Something you need to know to ask for, while the signage mentions the Two Park passes. It would probably work better if Universal came up with some clever name to make the pass sound like a bit more. How about the Escape Pass?

I guess they have a better relationship with Vekoma after Battlestar Galactica, and that is Vekoma's first 4-abreast, right? Hmm, there are a lot of similarities there. I just hope they go with a different company.

Ugh, now I'm starting to think it's Vekoma. Sad face.

WhyLightBulb has been talking about gringotts...

"Yes count on it! Gringott's will be an amazing ride. The ride system itself will break new ground and the show elements will be a wonder to behold. There will be plenty of envirnmental effects, 3-D sets and next generation projection effects. It will be better than FJ in my opnion. I haven't even gotten into the Express train attraction either."

and...

"There are slow dark ride sequences and "coaster" sequences. Think Mummy and Spiderman with more show."

I have a hard time imagining any ride being able to pass the awesomeness of Forbidden Journey, but I am so pumped up for this. I'm curious how intense the coaster will be. I wonder if there will be any inversions, and what the speed and drops will be like. Inversions would instantly make it more intense than Forbidden Journey for most riders.

I agree that Forbidden Journey is one of the most amazing rides I have ever been on. But I don't think he means that the ride will be better because it will be physically more intense. He seems to be saying that there will be a lot more sets and show sequences. I'm imagining lots more 'wide open' physical spaces with details to look at. That, combined with all the 'next generation projection effects' and 'environmental effects' would definitely make this even better than FJ. I'm so excited to ride this!

Better Premier than Vekoma, IMO. But the ride vehicles alone are already very similar to Mummy. Plus it'd be indoors, with elaborate show elements, and nearly all of Premier's coaster models utilize LIM launches.

I'm hanging on to Intamin because they're quality and they've done 4-abreast before. If it's truly "Mummy and Spider-Man" combined, I think Intamin is one of the few companies that could pull it off. When I read the Leap Day article, the first company I thought of was Intamin with all of the ride functionality. Curse of DarKastle, Th13teen, Kingda Ka...Intamin pushes the limits. Plus, if it's truly sophisticated, they would want to go with a well-established company, and Intamin is more established than Premier.

I don't have nearly the evidence as you do; it's probably wishful thinking. But here's hoping for more Intamin in Florida.

I don't think Universal would be to happy with Vekoma after Battlestar galactic due to all the issues they have had with it. I roller coaster that closed down a month after opening because a seat fell off and had to be closed for almost a year to design and build new seats, that wouldn't break, as well as hurting one of their parks reputations. I don't think they would want to repeat that again.

Never heard about that incident. Hope it deters them.

Hypable.com has picked up Whylightbulb's comment and is reporting it like it is the second best thing to an official announcement from Universal.

While we wait for Universal Orlando to announce the Diagon Alley expansion for The Wizarding World (it’s taking them a while), a trusted member of the theme park community is hinting at what’s to come.

WDWMagic forum member WhyLightBulb, a reputable source, had this to say about the Gringotts ride which’ll be the major attraction in Diagon Alley: “Gringott’s will be an amazing ride. The ride system itself will break new ground and the show elements will be a wonder to behold. There will be plenty of envirnmental effects, 3-D sets and next generation projection effects. It will be better than FJ in my opinion.”

Hypable has independently heard from a source who has seen the plans and calls the working Hogwarts Express and Diagon Alley “amazing.”

We’re anxious to hear Universal announce the project and will of course bring you the news as soon as it breaks.

I don’t know if this has been discussed before because it is sort of relevant to both this Phase 2 thread and the Seuss Expansion thread; is there any chance of the lagoon at IOA being altered?
The name of the park is “Islands” of Adventure, this was a discussion that I remember from Phase 1; shouldn’t both sides of tWWoHP Hogsmeade be located via bridge? During Phase 1, there was the valid argument of you either get a LC-HP bridge or more of Potter due to the lack of space, and obviously more HP was the wiser choice. However now with functional Hogsmeade Station expansion and the rumoured Seuss Mount Crumpit coaster expansion going where Poseidon’s Fury currently is (and the rest of the LC also getting scrapped), would they alter the shape of the lagoon by removing the current Seuss-Lost Continent bridge, and then build a new bridge between expanded Seuss and expanded Potter (relocating the water canal "star point" of the lagoon). I know this would be costly, but because "Islands" is the name of the park and Universal is currently using the temporary-dam method at USF, is this plausible? Or will Seuss just transition directly to Potter?
