Simple, Hagrid put them there so people could lean about the animals. It could even be his voice. Personally, I would prefer speakers more than that, and I would prefer guides even more, maybe even just have them standing by the animals.

--- Update ---

Oh, Jo definitely wouldn't approve, personally, I would prefer the OOTP speakers, I was just replying to what you said. Also, you could possibly have a button or something for people to press, but I still think guides would work best.

You know, considering we've got Ministry of Magic signs all over the place, and they are the ones who decided to "show us the wizarding world", maybe we could have that explanation? A Ministry of Magic regulated tour of the Forbidden Forest... That would also explain no tour guides...

Uuuh yeah basically that's everything, but the circle at the end needs to have another short trail because it all needs to go in a semi circle so that way people will leave at a different area. And instead of wizard students trying to get extra credit, it could just be an extended tour of hogwarts (since that's what forbidden journey was supposed to be.). That way, you could have people of all ages doing the tour, because if they're all students from hogwarts, that means everyone on the tour is going to have to be pretty young, otherwise it would just look weird having a tour guide who is clearly in their fifties XD. But everything else sounds great.

No no no, you misunderstand. Have you been to the WWoHP? If not, I'll explain that they already have "students" running the FJ line, so they could easily do the same thing with this.

This Forbidden Forest tour is a REALLY good concept... It probably wouldn't be as full blown as we're imagining, but it might be very close. I think this in the back, and an extension of Hogwarts including a walk through of the Great Hall (I doubt J.K. Rowling would approve a Great Hall restaurant xD), another walk through classroom or two, and the rest of Hogwart's houses would make for a very nice expansion if they had the room to extend the castle (considering that, at the moment, it's all in one building... Would they just add on to the building and block of the line for FJ?)... Both of these are probably the most probable ideas for a more coming expansion (something that might happen sooner rather than later), and with these, I'm positive Universal could find a way to incorporate DH into the park...

Yes I have been to WWoHP XD and I didn't know the employees their were supposed to be students. I thought they were just people haha. But in that case yeah they could use students as tour guides. In all truth though, I don't think the majority of people (I'm talking of course, the average theme park guest) would care about an explanation as to if they were students their or not.

And I think uni could make most of the stuff. I mean we do have the technology to make everything, and some kind of special affects for each of the creatures. Most of it would just cost a LOT of money, like an actual walking unicorn or hippogriff. If they did do it though, it would be a great success and would really make IoA shine. Next they would need to re amp USF though because it's losing it's flare in comparison to IoA and needs some real good lovin!

 Yes, that's why they are dressed up in robes from different houses (green for Slytherin, Maroon for Gryffindor, gold for Hufflepuff, and blue for Ravenclaw...), they are supposed to be helping you "sneak out" of the castle...

And I agree, but IMHO, a lot of creatures from OUR proposal would be cut out xD... All they would need would be quite a few recognizable creatures, such the hipogriff, unicorn (in the books, there was one time when the students got to see baby unicorns as adults were so hard to come by. The baby's were all different bright colors, because they didn't turn white until adult hood. Something like this could work out similar to the "Triceratops Encounter"), Aragog, and a Blast Ended Screwt (those things could be great for funny special effects xD)...

Huh really? I never heard about the employees like THAT haha but I can see how it would work. I was to occupied trying to buy my scarf ^_^.

And also if I do remember correctly, wasn't there a adult unicorn in the first or second movie that voldemort killed for it's blood? And as for most of the other creatures, they could add a werewolf and a troll because both things were spotted in the movie and I think they came from the woods so JK might let it slid. The other creatures that were only noted in the books might not make it only because they weren't in the movie. But they might I dint know XD

Here's a video, go to 1:22

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCvxmI6sIA8

That's supposed to be a student (although she's not dressed up in robes, seeing as this was taken in the summer and she's one of the outdoor queue sections employees)... The performers for the Hogwarts frog choir are also supposed to be students...

Oh we didn't go see the frog choir. We just went to forbidden journey because we didn't want to wait in all those lines and what not.

--- Update ---

Also, I don't know if this would be geographically correct but I remember these carts being carried by invisible creatures that could only be seen if you have seen someone die. They could make this into a ride that would be like the safari in animal kingdom. Then it would be just one big ride. That would be a lot of fun to me. The people would keep moving, a tour guide would still be able to explain the info, and everyone would still be able to see the spaniels in a magical way

That's a possibility... Not geographically correct, but it could easily be explained. They take every student except the first year students (who travel on the lake by boat) to the castle from the trains, so it could be explained by telling people they are now being used to take people through the Forest...

Those are called Thestrals. Thats a really good idea, the only problem could be capacity issues on the carts.

They could be pretty big, I mean like seat about 20 people per carriage. The line would be pretty long at times but it would still be pretty fun.

Errr... That would be kind of... Off... In real life, the types of carriages they used would only be able to hold about 4 per cart... Maybe say they placed an engorgment charm on them?

That would work. I was thinking more that since the ministry of wizardry is everywhere, and they were the ones that allowed tours of hogwarts, they could also provide a tour through the enchanted forest as well. I was thinking they could have temporarily moved the carriages (I still wasn't sure if it was geographically correct) to the forbidden forest, and put a charm on them so they could fit everyone in the carriages.

I agree. There is only 3 ways the future of IoA is going go.

1. Potter Expansion
2. Marvel Re-do
3. JP Expansion

As I've said before, it's obviously inevitable that there will be some sort of expansion for Potter into LC. There is so much talk coming from everywhere that it can't be just a fanboy dream. My bet is for it to take over the Arabian section.

I can live with a Potter and JP expansion (Raptor Encounter anyone?), but I WILL be mad if they touch Marvel.

They may have to based solely on the fact now that Disney owns Marvel and Uni may be able to get a better royalty deal set up with DC instead if sticking with Marvel.

if universal were to get DC, i think they should change the marvel area to the DC heros and villians. they dont really have to change the rides, but maybe instead of spiderman, make it superman or batman, and the hulk coast could be themed after flash.

Since this rumor started we've all discussed the possibilities, and I like that one xD... But one we talked about that would be EXTREMELY cheap is re doing it to the Green Lantern xD...
