First off, I know I'm a bit a crazy about this, I really do go a little overboard when it comes to HP Phase 2. 2nd off, yes, they could open a portal, but how would you explain being able to see one from the other? One of the best parts of theme parks is having a good theme, both for the land and the entire park. Unless there's a way to explain it, it wrecks the theme of the area.

We're muggles invited to the wizarding world. We see it differently cause of the spell that has to be cast on us so we can enter the land. I'm grasping at straws here LOL.

No it doesn't. Just like how Hogsmeade is so close to Hogwarts, and there is no Black Lake. It's a theme park, proximity is out the window. They'll separate it so it's not like it's a neighbor, so you can feel like you will be in 2 different areas, but face it, it's a coming.

But that's different. Hogsmeade and Hogwarts are at least already near each other, Diagon Alley isn't even in the same country.

Here we go again with this argument :pop:

Go back about 40 pages, and 60 pages and 80 pages to see the result of this same argument

Again, theme park...

There is no City of Marvel Heroes conjoining.
There is no Lagoon full of Toons.
There is no 2nd Jurassic Park.
There is no Landing of Seuss Characters.
You shouldn't be able to go from Mexico to Norway in 5 minutes.
Planet Earth does not exist in Star Wars Canon.
There are no F5 Twisters in New York. (Well, it could happen, but very unlikely, like an Earthquake in Orlando)

See where I'm going with this...

Forget the logistics of it, you'll get better sleep that way.

But they don't have a gigantic obsessed fandom of people pointing out every little fault. It my just be my HP obsession, but I think it's different. I could go on and on and on, but like Vyrus said, I've had this same argument about 5 or 6 times before, so I'm just gonna shut up

Yes they do. I would venture a guess that Comic Con is a lot bigger than LeakyCon, or any Potter event. Each land has their respective fans. You sound like Mike554 and his dinosaurs...

Comic Con is multiple fandoms. And, HEY! Calling me insane I'd be fine with, but NEVER compare me to MIKE! That's just evil!
And hey, at least you can read my sentences!

Oh, and by the way, how DARE people confuse Nargles and Wrackspurts! I mean, c'mon, they're two COMPLETELY different things!

When, if ever, do you think an official statement will come out announcing the expansion of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter?

Has anybody thought about the potter expansion being in the studios park? i think if they were to build DA it would be perfect for the studios because of the "back lot" Uni could throw up a london street and then go from there. maybe adding platform 9 3/4 with a hogwarts express to hogsmeade for guests with a 2 park ticket.

Although a novel idea, I doubt they would want to split the 2 areas. IOA is about being immersed in the areas, USF is about living the movies, and you're suppossed to feel like you're actually in the area, not visiting a movie set.

Potter does not belong in the Studios IMO. It would cheapen the experience at IOA if you had a backlot Potter right next door.

Not to 90% of the people that step foot inside the Wizarding World of Harry Potter they're not. The vast majority of people that go are NOT DIE HARD fans, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that , that's just the way it is.

Just like how most people who are in Jurassic park have no idea what InGen is...
Just like how most people who are in Amity harbor don't know who Chief Brody is...
Just like how most people who are in World Expo have no idea what a neuralizer is...

AND just like how most people wont know if Diagon Alley's physical location is geographically inaccurate!

OK i can sleep now...

Definitely. Besides, I don't think JK wants it to be a backlot attraction.

 It was a joke. Since Briman was comparing me to Mike, I was making fun of Mike, since he said the same thing, but with types of Dinos. Hence the  at the end.
