But somehow people are complaining. I'm also pushing for IOA to demolish the Toon Lagoon theater and build a Rocky and Bullwinkle Wild Mouse Spinning Coaster. To heck with the shows, plus it puts something in a space that is largely 90% never used.

So let's get those imagination juices flowing. Gringotts coaster: wild mouse or something else?

No, not wild mouse, I would put it somewhere in between a Mummy indoor coaster and Rockin Roller Coast at DHS.

It HAS to look very industrial so I could see Premier Rides and their ugly trains apart of this project just like the Mummy. I also forsee a large Dragon AA in there somewhere, waterfalls, etc..

One of those is a long, narrow train, while the other is a . . . rectangle. Somewhere in between isn't very specific.

I mentioned wild mouse because it would be the most accurate in size to what is described in the books: a single mine cart. It can have a compact layout, and it could be themed very well.

I meant as in the spirit of the ride, but when it comes to a ride vehicle I think something very industrial looking like the Mummy train cars would fit, maybe even sliced in half. It can't be something pretty especially if its something old.

I think the car itself will be Mummy-esque. Small enough to feel intimate, yet big enough so capacity is not terrible.

Yeap thats what I was thinking as well, and I think this will have its coaster elements as well, but it will and should have more scenes like the false unload in the Mummy especially with a Dragon encounter.

I expect Gringotts to be much longer than Mummy is. more show scenes as well as more coaster portion.

After thinking about for a long time, I've decided to step out of neutrality on this debate and join the "Yes, it's going to happen" side. The main reason: Pretty much every insider I've read over says that it's going to happen. For me, it comes down to "Believe who or what you want to believe" (I don't mean that as an offense remark), so I'm not really up for discussing it. There's been a lot of interesting arguments here from both sides, as it is a fascinatingly complex subject as to why Universal wants to go for an expansion, but yes, as stated before, I will trust what I've read.

Maybe a Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter. It would fit the theme. And a 97 degree drop right out of the load platform would rock. AND be unique to the market.

THAT sounds like a plan in my opinion, the track is small and simple like the movie, and it can maneuver any which way they want it to go

But have any of those been indoors?

I don't think it'd be that intense though. I don't see something for Potter being insane like that. Yes, Dragons is included in Potter, but it was already there.

Half of Dollywood's Mystery Mine is indoors. It's totally doable.

Isn't the Gringotts mine cart in the new film suspended? Could've sworn I saw that in the trailer. If not, I love the idea of using the Mystery Mine ride system - perfect vehicle/track size. However, I'm a bit concerned about the scenic elements - we already have a dragon AA. Do we need another? Especially with Dragon Challenge a 2 minute walk away?

They could disregard the dragon for the ride. There's plenty of stuff that can be done for Gringotts.

It's not suspended. It does a heartline while the car remains upright.

To add on to that, part of SAW: the Ride is also indoors. It's definitely possible.

Yeah I thought that was cool from the moment I saw it in the first ad, wish there was some sort of system like THAT (even though Uni still wouldn't likely use it due to cost lol)...

Guys I have had a plan for a Gringotts coaster drawn up for like a year now. The only thing is I see a Gringotts coaster becoming a little too similar in plot setting and style to Mummy.

The current rumor for Phase 2 is that the Leaky Cauldron is gonna fall onto Fire Eater's Grill like a farmhouse on a wicked witch. The Leaky Cauldron will span the walkway with a highly themed yet somewhat open air covered seating area. You will pass through the back wall into Diagon Alley. Diagon Alley's main walkway will run from The Leaky Cauldron to Gringott's Bank (Sindbad's). The tall buildings and enclosed nature of the streets will block out EVERYTHING but Diagon Alley. Knockturn Alley will be a spur off of the main walkway and lead to the current WWOHP. What better place for mysterios portal to Scotland than Knockturn Alley, Right?

Going by this rumor I made a little map of where everything could go. As you can see from the first image, there is PLENTY on room for Phase 2 and LC to still remain.
