Thanks HTF! Those pics of the theater got me stupid excited for this. I'm trying to think what kind of products would push 1K? The broomsticks in D&B are quite pricey, but not anywhere near that much. I'm coming up with nothing that would fit that bill.

Large-scale collectible pieces, or authentic film memorabilia. There are a lot of things in Cyber Image (the store T2 exits from) that surpass the 1K mark, the life-size Terminator statue being 6,000.

Hi everyone. I'm new here so don't shoot me if this questions already been asked!

Why is Wyndhams Theatre so prominent on the London waterfront? Is it just because it's a generic London landmark or is there mentions of it in the books that I've forgotten about?

It's not mentioned anywhere in the books, I believe it is just because it is a prominent "West End" landmark. And I believe they are really trying to establish that Diagon Alley is somewhere hidden in the "West End".

Thought it would be something like that, but it just seems like an odd choice of building when there are dozens of far more instantly recognisable landmarks. Do you reckon it will have some sort of theatre-esque theming inside or something?

But there's no way that would cost over $1,000 for a replica. And yeah, T2 sells life-size models, but what would diagon alley sell? Life size harry potter statues? The only thing I can think of would be a vanishing cabinet. Pensieves, maybe? Possibly the stone basin from the cave that held the locket?

In the Harry Potter Studio Tour in London they sell some horrendously priced things, the most expensive I remember are full replica robes costing several hundred pounds, so son't be surprised what they can spin out to slap a hefty price tag on!

Wyndhams Theatre in Charing Cross... Was that in the books/films? I can't remember seeing it or is it just to add to the London reference?

They've been selling the costumes from the movie designer (at high prices) for some time now:

^ and those aren't even that well made. Probably came from some cheaper sweat-shop in east Asia like one of Walmart's suppliers.
