I'm pretty out of the loop when it comes to Disney these days, but I never knew that Cars Land was ever rumored to come to WDW in some way. I just assumed it was a California exclusive.

it was never announced just rumored from trusted sources..i always thought one of them might not happen..just seemed like a lot to do both star wars and cars land...it will be interesting to see where star wars goes and when it gets completed

I think they should do Star Wars and leave Cars for the west coast. Florida doesn't need everything California has and vice-versa.

Eh. I'm okay with Carsland being exclusive to DCA, especially if we were going to get an inferior version. But it blows that the money's going to their silly little condos and NGE stuff.

From what I heard at DHS they are looking to expand on the Star Wars theming but Cars Land (section) was still a go. They have been displaying Cars characters at DHS since 2010 with the public responding very well. I wouldn't mind seeing some type of Cars representation but I would really like an Indiana Jones ride maybe at Animal Kingdom.

I personally wouldn't mind them scraping Cars Land, putting the money into Star Wars and then right after Star Wars opens shut the other part down and expand on a Pixar Land type theme with Toy Story being the beginning of it. Move Muppets to LM theater and upgrade it. So you have two distinct lands back there.
