Universal’s Newest Theme Park is Opening Soon. Here’s Why You Shouldn’t Buy a Ticket Yet | Theme Park Tourist

what do you guys think?

I saw that article, and think it's total garbage. I've noticed the author of that article has a tendency to write misinformed pieces fairly regularly though.

It's a good thing (for them) that they screen the comments on their website because I think there'd be a lot of critical comments on that one...

Theme Park Tourist seems to take the BuzzFeed approach to theme park news. Clickbait titles, an emphasis on driving traffic, tons of ads. (Aside: BuzzFeed funnels a lot of money from their crap into their killer news organization which does amazing journalism).

I was shocked by how many workers were on site my last visit. I've never seen so many workers working on a single project in my life. (There's several dozen people scattered on the volcano alone.)

I always think Universal's not gonna finish something on time but they've been knocking everything out the last several years so I just stopped questioning it.

Over 50 in this one:

And those are just a couple areas, pics taken within a minute of each other. There has to be another 60+ on the volcano. Another 30+ working on the park entrance. And I have no idea how many working behind the volcano or on slides that are obstructed. It's like the dozers from Fraggle Rock! They just keep building and building!

Haha same, here. Especially the last few attractions. They went up so quick that even when questioned we got answers right away. I love Universals speed and determination. Makes watching construction that much more fun.

Yet DHS and DAK are going to be pulling in,so much money being separate gates while suess lackluster attractions don't actually draw people in. (and i like suess)

They need to finish this up so they can move over to Pew Pew land. Good time to be a rockwork specialist in OTown.

Any construction is edible, if you're determined enough.

I even heard trough the 'static "floating" mountain grape vine' that Disney has a scheme in place to sell off parts of their rockwork from Avatar land during an exclusive diner party for only $499.- in the unlike event that the area isn't profitable enough. It's done by Frank Brough so I'm sure it's worth at least double the price. ;)
