Use that bottom link if it works for you, if not go through these steps:
The SFWMD epermitting database:
Records Search - Application/Permit

Just search for "Universal" as the company name to pull up their most recent water management permits.

The project name is "Serenoa Village Mass Grading" for the south resort. Click on the Application number, then go to the application documents and maps folders.

"serenoa village mg stormwater mgmt calculations" is the document with that map and other water maps.
Thanks. I had looked in some of the other documents there but not that one.

I don't have any explanation for the discrepancy. The deeds attached to that application are the same ones that were filed a few weeks ago, and they still pretty clearly exclude that parcel.

As far as I can tell no other land transactions have occurred, so for the moment I think we should assume universal does not have that parcel until we see something more definitive.

Yeah, I guess we wait now to see what happens in the foreclosure case, since the rest of the debt tied to those parcels hasn't been satisfied.

JPRA complete refurb/ update will be ready to go summer of 2019. Apx. 8 months of work...."Rumored" new attraction for Jurassic Park would probably be 2020.

If both of these are true then JP is going to be a boring place for a while.:(

Not entirely,

I would assume Raptor Encounter will get moved to the Lagoon facing Jurassic Park River Adventure, to where they may bring the Hollywood Raptors over to Orlando. Then you will also have Kong to tide over.

What makes me wonder, is when the arch at Jurassic may come down next to Hogsmeade, as that would make sense when you consider Jurassic World having a very different arch look.

From what I can see, so-far:

2019 - JPRA Renovations/Update, Hogsmeade Coaster, Bourne
2020 - Ministry, Jurassic Park Attraction

That leaves the door to 2021 being a minor year, and that perhaps what could be the major thing for the parks that year, is a port of Universal Spectacle.

So you do believe that Jurassic Park will be rethemed as Jurassic World?

I don't think Universal would make 2021 a small year, when WDW is having a big year....

I think it makes sense, as it'd be Comcast's way to leave it's mark on the Jurassic franchise in the parks.

I see it happening for Beijing, and I see it here too.

Considering the possibility of Gate 3 opening in 2022, it may be the more proper time to have the northern parks prepare for the southern property.

Primarily, I think 2021 is infrastructure, with the only major addition I see happening being Universal Spectacle.

They also probably learned maybe its best to take their time so you don't end up with a VB/F&F situation which negatively impacts the views of your product. Let Disney have their year then top everything they do right afterwards.

I believe each park will get in addition in 2021. Nothing is going to top Star Wars so I doubt Universal is going to try. Each attraction will be solid with the idea of building up the parks before the third dry park opens hopefully in late 2022 or 2023.

I’m not convinced Park is changing to World, but I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the aesthetics change from rustic to a more modern shiny look. Kinda matching the new film series without the full commitment.

Raptor Encounter is a good example, really straddling the line between the two different styles. And it even did it’s own thing with the yellow electric fence style. I like that IOA’s Jurassic Park exist on its own, not beholden to any canon.

We know that universal filed plans for building warehouses on the northern part of the new property back in February, but they have made seemingly no effort towards getting those plans approved in the time since.

This got me thinking - what if they decided to go a different direction in laying out the southern property? From a transportation/logistical standpoint, it could make a lot of sense to build parking garages on that northern area where the warehouses were planned. Doing so would allow for a direct flow of traffic into the resort and garages from Sand Lake Rd and Kirkman Rd, which would likely be more efficient than any of the other options. Laying out the south site this way would also allow them to make more of the land that directly borders the treatment plant backstage areas rather than guest accessible areas. The major downside is that if Citywalk 2.0 is then also placed towards the north end, it will be a significant distance from at least some of the parks and/or hotels. Or they could make Citywalk 2.0 more centrally located and just have a really really long moving walkway to get there from the parking garages.

This is not a likely outcome, nor do we have any real reason to believe it will happen, but I am curious what everyone thinks of this idea.

I think Universal wants the main entrance off of Universal Blvd to make sure the campuses feel connected, plus its their namesake roadway.

Here’s an idea I have that’s kinda “out there”, but consider a Hyperloop demonstrator connecting the two campuses. The loops would circle underground at either campus and then connect with underground tunnels. The insane speed of the connection could be branded as “instant” (i.e. Star Trek tele-porter)...

In all seriousness, do you expect Universal/Comcast to buy even more land in order to connect the three (north, south, and Wet ‘N Wild)? As for a monorail connection, they could get rights to build in public rights of way, such as coming from Kirkman by Lockheed Martin.

Yes, infact, maybe someone can verify this, but I read part of the settlement included a right of first refusal for Universal on the land it did not purchase at this time from Stan.

Water level, buildings up above, the kind of soil, snowflakes scared in underground area's, this list goes on why this extremely expensive idea will never see the light of day.
I would have stretched, electric limousines as an option but the most realistic one is bus transportation.

Yes, that’s why I said it’s “out there”, but it’s not impossible. To achieve this, the tunnels would be cut through bedrock, which is below the water table (they just did this in Miami a few years ago with the Port tunnel, for example). Of course, the cost would be prohibitively expensive, but if Elon Musk has his way and he’s able to drastically reduce the cost of tunnel boring machines (a goal he has set for his Boring Company), it may be affordable one day.
