Easy fix. With Batuu being original, they can flex the time period. Some hours, you get Luke, Vader, Chewie. Other hours you get Darth Maul. Other times, you get Rey and Kylo. They can flex it out, if they choose to.

Or close Launch Bay, keep Star Tours with a new film focusing on Prequels and OT and retheme the facade too Tatooine. The new film would be configured as an adventure filled trip that starts on Tatooine but you exit onto the Moon of Endor. (which is where Muppets land is now). Move the Launch Bay M&Gs and Jedi Academy to the new Moon of Endor. Add a second attraction. I was thinking speeder bike through the MoE forest. But someone just opened a bike coaster in a forest. So something else.
After you pass through Endor all you have to do is pass through the time travel tunnel and boom you're in the Sequel Trilogy.

I find it highly unlikely that they will remove Luke, Vader, and the gang from the park.

Oh I thought you meant Galaxy’s Edge, not DHS. That, I agree with. At least not for another 10 years. I think Disneyhead has it spot on, expand on Star Tours a bit and make it OT/PT focused. Have your meet and greets there as well. Launch Bay is just space that could be best utilized for something else.

I don’t know the scope of that building off the top of my head, but my guess is the blackbox ride could takeover that building. Keep changing the ride to new hit animated films and liven up the courtyard a bit.

So... they are to group 94 at this point. Do we know how many groups were distributed, because we are getting close. I wonder what will happen once they run out.

Part of me thinks they are holding onto certain additions til after Ep. 9 debuts. With Ep. 8 teasing gray area Force (aka no more light side/dark side) - it wouldn't make sense to have a Jedi temple in the land right now.

Your point brings up something else I thought of, though - They need to start consolidating Star Wars to just Batuu. Time to get rid of Launch Bay, and, dare I say, Star Tours.

I think they're holding onto certain additions because Disney knows their fans will reward them for future rollouts. Even small ones. That's been my main complaint about this land. They opened it early to make money off the land even though the main attraction wasn't ready. They knew certain people would book another vacation to ride RotR. And they know when they add the obvious stunt show element down the road people will come back again. But I feel disappointed for the people who saved up for their one vacation, and they only got to experience a half opened land and can't afford to come back down again for years. If Disney fans keep rewarding phased roll-outs, this will become the norm.

They are already planning to do this AGAIN, with Marvel at DCA.

So I finally got down to Hollywood Studios to ride this attraction yesterday. We arrived around 7:15am and waited in line for rope drop. They let us in around 7:40 and we immediately setup a boarding pass. didn't get so lucky and our boarding was 72. We waited all day and into the late afternoon, finally getting to our boarding pass number around 7:25pm.

As far as the line, it felt like the tunnels of Hagrid, mixed with FOP, so for the first 15-20 mins of the line nothing spectacular. Then we came to the holograph room and this is where the line changed completely and you almost felt a sense of urgency to get out of there. We quickly were escorted to the transport ship and the portion that was high outside in the cliffs was unexpected and added more to the confusion of where you actually were. This continued with the transport and the capture portion of the line. Everything about this seemed over the top and made waiting in line feel much more like part of the ride.

Once we managed to get to the actual ride portion of the whole thing, you were slightly confused and disoriented on which way was out.

But then, sadly I felt a little let down on the trackless portion. Having just gone to Efteling Park in February, we were very familiar with the trackless setup from Symbolica. My wife actually said that it felt almost identical other than the "action."

While the ride is a great addition to the land, I feel like they could have done a bit more to immerse you in the ride. FOP has more in the sense that you are connected to the lap bar and vibrations intensify the whole experience, even the smells that they could've added around the explosions and cannons firing. I know lasers don't exactly burn, but there should be something there I think.

I don't see why a droid programmed to help us escape would take us directly to the bridge of the ship where Kylo Ren is. Which also happens to be 20 ft from where AT-AT's are shooting their loud blasters at us 10 seconds before and no one seems to have noticed. That part of the story seems a little off to me.

Click edit and type between the two sets of brackets with spoiler in them.

And to respond to the above.
Obviously there will be spatial compression on a ride but your point stands at why we end up on the bridge besides it's cool and gives us a chance to be there.

It’s established pretty early on that the droids aren’t working very well. The line is “who picked these droids anyway?”

Not sure if this has been addressed previously, but how do we go from where we loaded the transport ship to the star destroyer? I don't think that it's an elevator down, because the show building is obviously not underground. Does the whole room move or "rotate" to the left into the rockwork? Not sure if anything I am saying is making sense but that's one part of the experience I can not seem to figure out.

It rotates, you can see this because the break in the ground where the door opens is curved. There are two pods.

are you sure there is not 3? Based on the angle between how you get on and off looks to be 120 degrees. plus the long duration of the flight makes it seem like it would be in that third position while one loads and unloads.

I think it's 3. One at enter, one at exit, and one in transit back to start.

Pretty sure this is correct. Load/unload occurs simultaneously. Click on the tweet to view the illustration."
