No change from Disney yet:
Not surprising, usually Disney waits till 24 hours prior before announcing operations changes. Universal usually beats them by a few hours but they're very close.

I hope Disney have learned their lessons from last time. I forget what exactly happened but something to do with a crappy packed lunch?
Short Pump area?
had to evacuate from campus today. i go to school in st augustine and no matter the direction it goes, it’ll still lend us with some insane flooding. thankfully, my roommate and i are in a place high enough above sea level where we won’t be too terribly flooded.
it seems like no matter when or where it hits, it’s gonna be gnarly. hhn and universal in general have been dead silent so i wonder if they’re in a lot of preparation meetings. either way, i have a bad feeling that opening will be delayed
Yes! Short pump mall. We were in corporate housing just across Broad (?) street I think?
I saw this. I really hope so.Looking better now that this thing could just run parallel to the coast instead of coming onshore.
I'm starting to question whether or not this will make landfall in Florida at allLooking better now that this thing could just run parallel to the coast instead of coming onshore.
Even if no landfall, Cat 4 weather/winds will still make for a very unpleasant time. Also, if it doesn’t make landfall, the storm will remain a strong storm until it likely would hit the Carolinas.
And gas. And hurricane parties that I will be having no matter what happens bc I bought cake, Nachos and other food as if it were the Super Bowl...Well at least everyone now has bottles of water to last them the next 10 years.
