Anyone at Sea World this morning? What is the line like for Antarctica?

I did it today. Only took an hour to get through. I sat next to a guy taking notes.

My quick 3 word review is: That was it?

The technology was cool in as you didn't know where you were going and would double back in some spots.

The story fell apart once you boarded the ride vehicle.

I was in car 4 which stunk because you were the last to arrive at the 2 stop scenes which made the ride seem shorter. It almost seemed like we were late to the first short video scene as it was already going as we got in and we didn't even really fit in with the other 3 vehicles.

Then the next scene came that also didn't really explain things

Then you 180 and see the penguins and it was then that I realized it was already over.

Oh and there are now nets across basically the whole exhibit except for this one part in the middle that isn't next to the water

It sounds like it was a private party tonight, but I'm still confused about the latter part of his tweet. Here's more from him:

It closed by 5:45 on a 7p park closure. For a private party. This wasn't listed or communicated anywhere, not even in the map which prints daily

Mercy, that is sounding as if it is in perpetuity. Geeez, what does that mean??? Are they going to try and rebuild the thing at night?

Yeah SeaWorld is as clueless with dark rides as WDW is with expansions.

It's amazing how this thread has died since the opening. Most of the pages are talking about Publix. I've put off my trip to check the ride out until the end of June. Hopefully those ugly nets will be gone by then.

It's a shame that so many people are not going just because this one ride is disappointing, it's still a beautiful park with some great thrills, amazing shows, and awesome exhibits that usually doesn't have a lot of people in the off months.
