I dunno, I hope the update is big enough to be something that Universal talks about, even if it isn't the biggest thing out there. I really would have liked to see the Amber Mine come to life, but perhaps the wooden rollercoaster with its rockwork, etc will still have enough of its roots in it.

I wonder, is the River Adventure still getting a makeover with new effects and AAs, or did that get scrapped as well?

So, trying to get the full story. The new coaster would be family-oriented, wooden, taking the place of Trikes?, and what would it be themed to?

Pretty incredible! I assume this is the type of project they will share art for before it starts?

If the rumored rebranding happens do you think it will happen alongside the expansions in 2014?

I need art to get excited for this. An unthemed jr. woodie and a flat just sounds more like Busch territory to me.

I need art for Kong, JP, the new super deluxe hotel, LOTR, the next phase of citywalk, MIB mystery Plot, Godzilla, F&F and the new resort area on the old lockheed martin land NOW!!!

Lets see just how good of "insiders" some of you are...

Didn't you hear the jr. woodie's going to have waterfalls, rockwork and a couple trike AAs?

I also heard it's going to be open by late this year... which makes me doubt it will have rockwork, waterfalls, and AAs. I don't know what to believe.

You mean like when they tore down an old soundstage and built Transformers in under one year? If anyone can do it, it's Universal!

It will Most likely re-use the Trike AA's. The new JP Expansion will have At Least one of the Trikes in it. There will be more then just the flat and the coaster, there will be little experiences through out the land, like random AA's etc. Also JPRA will most likely get a major overhaul

Weren't the trikes destroyed?

If thats the case they need to start by Feb/March or do it in a world record pace.

Considering it's just a flat and jr. woodie with moderate theming, I could see them starting late February with a grand opening in December... IF they haul it like nobody's business as soon as major Diagon Alley construction is finished

It seems like they'll be doing a lot of off-site fabrication for JP, which can go on while there are on-site delays from other projects. IDK the timeline or what else they have planned there, but the assembly part should go lightning fast.

Well, I'm no insider, but yesterday I had been yearning for the same thing, and started making a crude marking-up of all of the future/possible expansion plots that aren't already inhabited by some attraction or venue of significance. So, the white areas are the ones that could be used for future expansions, with the exception of the watercolor lines (I used Paint) that could be future monorail/other transportation routes; the green outlines could be resorts; the first kidney bean-shaped outline can be another CityWalk, and the two oval-ish shapes can be new parks; the the blue outlines represent possible artificial bodies of water; the area where Cabana Bay Beach Resort is going is greyed-out because Google Earth didn't have a recent enough picture for it to be there at all. Maybe we can work from here?

Of course, this is completely from my own imagination and I have no idea what it may actually be like, but at least this way one can begin to visualize all the different expansions and their relative sizes and such (or laugh at my shameful attempt at creating a visual aid for something)

Oh, and can someone tell me if the picture I included actually shows up? On my ipad it just shows the infamous blue question mark box...
