If you want to get heavy in to the theming argument, the park at IOA is "Isla Adventura" and not Nublar like the movie. There, your argument is done. The river ride wasn't in the Jurassic Park film either. Oh, neither was Camp Jurassic or the Pteranodon Flyers? Literally the only thing from the movie is the exterior of Discovery Center.
Hmm. What next, are you going to argue that Skull Island is in the Indian Ocean and Jurassic Park is in the Pacific so how can they be right next to each other? It's a theme park with rides. Yeesh, I don't see pixie dusters being so adamant about how Tomorrowland in the park isn't on another planet.
They can put whatever ride(s) they want to from Jurassic World in to Jurassic Park - this area was never designed or intended to be the same as the movies. The public still identifies the two as one in the same, because they pretty much are.
