Wow great description especially on the first plummet pulling you down sounds awesome, I visualized it perfect! Big wtf about the restraints though like, wtf? Are these like fat fat people or what because 1 from each dispatch is kind of a lot. And I myself am a personal trainer and have big legs now I'm worried, and I'm supposed to go the on the 13th. Really gonna suck if I can't ride.

Edit: Lol they need test seats on the outside of the park

They do have test seats but it does not indicate if it meets SeaWorld "criteria". So it may seem like it may fit to the guest, but employees may tell you differently while you board.

Also, it's not so much the gut but the legs/thighs (there is a max height of 80" as well).

^ So wrestlers and football pros are plumb outta luck? They might want to rethink that restraint for a few cars. And 80"? So pro basketball players are going to lose too. I guess that leaves golfers and curlers and race car drivers to enjoy the fun.

And I think 77" is for all other b&m's in florida at least. The no shoulder restraint makes it acceptable for a taller rider on hyper coaster's like this one, but one wouldn't be able to ride hulk per say.

One final note on the queue / station before we discuss the ride experience. If your a larger person be prepared for the walk of shame. The ride operator requires 3 clicks before you get the green light to ride. Now while that's no different than other rides the restraints here go over your legs and pelvis where most others go over your shoulders or abdomen. This as a result leads to a open and free ride experience but at the cost of a very tight restraint. I witnessed at least one person take the walk of shame every single dispatch today. This is going to be a serious guest complaint this year and IMO it should be. For years parks have offered the big boy seat and IMO this is a huge miss on seaworlds part.

That sucks. I've never not made it on a coaster but I have that little voice in the back of my head saying, "I wonder if this is the plate of rice and beans that will send me on the walk of shame?"

I don't think those particular restraints offer a "big boy" option (I don't recall seeing them on any other B&M Hyper). Usually those restraints require two seatbelt instead of one. Since these restraints have no seatbelt and also depend on the restraint riding around your hips, I don't know how that could be done.

All good, I know video updates are a new thing for our site so...

Also; subscribe!

Here's my experience with cameras and why I brought it up.

So they want a lot of loose articles (hats, glasses except Rx) in locker or bin. My P&S camera was fine in my cargo pocket. I kept it away and they were fine with it. After our 3rd ride, the loading station got a bit backed up (we were train 3) so I decided to take out the camera since the ride was over and get some video/pics of some of the coaster from up there. Got to the station and had 3 different people get on my case, felt last employee was a little too on the nose....

1st employee - "You cannot have your camera out during the ride"
Me - "Understood, I only took it out after the ride was done but I won't anymore"

2nd employee (think it was one of the managers) - "You cannot have your camera out during the ride"
Me - "Yeah, I talked to that guy over there, I only took it out after the ride was done but I won't anymore."
2nd - "OK well don't do it again or we'll kick you out"
Me - "OK......"

3rd employee (Definitely a Manager) - "Can I talk to you for a second?"
Me - "If this is about my camera, I already spoke with 2 other people, I only took it out after the ride was done before we unloaded but I'm not bringing it out anymore."
3rd - "OK well no videos of the ride are allowed"
Me - "I know.... It was just a misunderstanding, I'm not bringing the cam out anymore"
3rd - "If you do it again, we're going to have security escort you out of the park and you won't be able to ride it anymore."

And at the point, I lost my cool a bit. I wasn't rude, but I snapped back a bit.

Me - "I don't know how many times I need to be told this and tell you the same thing. I said I understood the issue. I won't bring the camera on anymore; but I guess I wouldn't be having this conversation if I was TPR since their POV is already on YouTube. I'll just see it there".

Guy got silent and walked away.

Point is, they didn't want cameras out near the train.

*I wasn't trying to tattle-tale or anything since TPR's video was later pulled, just found it surprising the amount of pushback after a full POV was online already after telling them "Hey, I only took it out before we unloaded."

The pushback could've been that they were mad they let it happen once, didn't want it to happen again. Normally i'd say since it's TPR, they let it slide, but you said the video got taken down, so idk.

Odd though that they would threaten to kick you out of the park over that. It's sort of reminds me of these kids who got in an actual fist fight over a freakin PENNY today at a rehearsal for a play.

Eesh sounds to me like they are overly paranoid, probably screamed at for not catching TPR. There's no reason to repeat it three times but I just keep thinking of Office Space: numerous managers repeating the same info, no communication.

The TPR video is still up. It's about as annoying as I thought it would be with the ever crappy Alvey commentary.
