Think he might mean that overall construction for Orlando will take longer, not necessarily that it will open last.
Just to be clear, the only announcement that they've made was for the groundbreaking at the park in Japan and that Mario Kart would be the main attraction, correct? Still no word on what's definitely coming to Hollywood or Orlando or their expected openings, right?
They've definitively said it's coming to Orlando and Hollywood, but nothing else.
MAYBE if and when KidZone closes after HHN, but maybe not even until after Fast and the Furious opens.
Could still be the case. I have no idea what goes on at USH
Depends what you consider an announcement and when you consider soon.
Orlando announcement with details and an opening timeframe? No. Announcement that KidZone is closing for demolition? Yea, I think that'd be relatively "soon".
I honestly don't think we'll get a Nintendo announcement for Florida until the end of next year, at the earliest
Perhaps when they announce that Dragon Challenge closes, they could announce the closing of kidzone as well, just with some generic "for future enjoyment".
I think that's about as much as we'd get for a good long while.
If this isn't expected to be in Orlando until 2021 then I don't see an actual announcement coming for another couple months or maybe even a year...

I WAS HOPING FOR THIS SO MUCH!!! :clap:
Now it makes even more sense to have a Nintendo store in CityWalk that sells Switches, games, etc.
It could be a good addition to the new land, but I hope the interactive technology used in the land itself can later be integrated into future portable gaming consoles from Nintendo. That way they can carry over beyond the Switch.
