The film on any attraction is probably the most protected of all the elements involved.

I don't mean to just come into this thread to spread negativity, but this sounds REALLY uninspired, and potentially one of the most obnoxious attractions in the park if handled poorly... hell, even if handled well!

I know the idea sounds terrible but shouldn't it be about the execution of said idea. Lets say Universal takes them to the 10s with a great coherent story, I see nothing wrong with this besides the lack of innovation in the ride vehicles/movements.

While i'm not a fan of this idea, you guys do realize the "Soarin-esque" ride system they mention would likely be nothing like soarin' at all, right? First of all, that system is patented by Disney, but second, there are so many innovative flying systems out there that have a wide range of movement.
