Loving the repaint work on Shamu Express!
The whole thing is really starting to look great!
Is that circle for a flat ride? A relocation or something new? Or is something else?
Do we know what's going to happen inside the building that's got the Sesame Street facade on it? That's a fairly large building.
Some sort of live show venue as well as shops I believe. Don't quote me on that though.
I am wondering if the theater is outdoors and they will have shops and a restaurant with character dining indoors in the main new buildings?
So like are they gonna clone the ride from port avenentura is a few years or what? Seems like a no brainier.
For the immediate, no.
It may be possible that SWE may look to the idea of contacting Sally on bringing it; but I would doubt it.
SWO brought media groups to get a look at Sesame Street..and this was confirmed.
RIP Cookie Monster Cookie. May you be dearly fonded of..

Behind the scenes of the new Sesame Street Land coming to SeaWorld
I’m sure this will be a hit but it’s a shame for a Seaworld that the Port Aventura ride (which sounds very good for what it’s worth) feels like it’s a wasted opportunity that Seaworld didn’t get in on.
Yeah, this is nice and all, but it is a tad disappointing that it's pretty much just rethemed rides with a few new things sprinkled in. A nice dark ride would've really made this project shine. Oh well, maybe as an expansion... Wild Arctic does need to go.
Oh, btw, this is supposed to be opening up earlier than Potter and they still haven't announced an opening date. Just sayin...
That would make SeaWorld a lot of money if they made it.
Would have been nice . We also 100% know what the names of the attractions, shows, food locations....as oppose to another project opening up presumably shortly afterwards. We also have commercials on tv and I just participated in a hard hat tour. Just sayin...
You make solid points. I guess I hadn’t taken into account all of that in which we knew for Sesame.
A dark ride would be a great addition, but I'd guess that Port Aventura is footing the bill for R&D and has an exclusive for some time. After that it probably will get cloned and roll out to all the SW parks. Just this update will be a huge plus for the park, and when it wears off in a couple of years it will be time to add a new attraction with the dark ride.
I hope this land is awesome!
To finish the day, we give thanks to Drew the Intern & @RollermanDan
I figured when they announced the Foodie Truck for Sesame Place it made sense to clone it for SWO. It looks like a lot of the new addition to Sesame Place this year is cloned from Sesame Street at SeaWorld.
So Cookie Monster cookies are officially a thing now? I'd actually be kind of excited to see that... I'm picturing a chocolate chip cookie the size of one of those enormous Lard Lad doughnuts that requires multiple people to actually finish it in one sitting.
