Great work figuring out the locations. I like how Disney put the little jokes in there.

Took these pictures today. Looks like these walls are new, and they're doing some construction/revamping to the scenery behind this. I believe this is the area where the speeder was.

I am very excited for the attraction. It is the first Disney ride I can remember riding. I got accepted into the Disney College Program for merchandise and location requested Tatooine Traders.

Fall or Summer program? Either way welcome to Hollywood! Hopefully I'll see you around sometime.

1138 has nothing to do with Star Wars other then it was Lucas directed.

From the

Disney facebook link
You already know we’re going to Tatooine for the Boonta Eve Podrace and to Coruscant.
Additional destinations include a visit to the beautiful planet of Naboo, a rare tour of the Wookiee planet of Kashyyyk, and a trip to the icy planet Hoth (seen above in a still image from Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back).

Of course, no Star Tours adventure would be complete without an unexpected visit to the Death Star, this time above the planet Geonosis.

Ahhh, but if you google Star Wars and 1138, you will see how many references, albeit subtle, and DVD easter eggs, are really out there

Personally, I think it doesn't mean anything, it's just more of an Easter Egg, but I guess it could be a hint as to our destination.

From Disney Parks Blog:
It won’t be long now before Star Tours re-launches and “The Adventures Continue” at both Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort in California! But where in the galaxy are we going?
We know a lot of you have been wondering and asking, and today we are happy to reveal the final destinations you can expect to visit when Star Tours resumes service.

In addition, we’ll be departing from a spectacular new Spaceport, created just for the new Star Tours voyages.

As revealed earlier, these destinations will be combined in more than 50 different story adventures, so you’ll never know where the Force will take you!

I wonder if and when they will do AP previews. A e-mail that Disney sent out said to look out for news for passholders.

This is amazing. I think that Disney is doing a great job at using the motion simulator to give this much variety. I just hope that they put as much time and effort into the 50 as they did the original because this can definetally be something amazing. I want to travel to Hoth the most.

do we know how the different destinations are chosen? Is it just completely random, vary by which car you use, or is it picked by audience vote? Also, will the actual ride change, or will just the scenery change? It seems odd and impressive that they were able to program 50 different ride variations.

Huge Star Wars fan, not a huge Star Tours fan...it will be interesting to see how they have improved the dated ride system.

Its all randomized, and its possible that we visit all of these, but who knows HOW we get to each, maybe the ride is longer now than the original.

My best guess is that there's several different events that can happen at any single 'destination', so my guess is we visit each of the aforementioned destinations, but the events that occur there differ each ride.
