Yea I think people are trying to make this attraction sound more complicated than it is.

I mean do you stop on the moving walkways at the entrance of the parks ?

The moving walkway at the beginning of the parks don't have minions on a screen doing things.

Also, I see kids going backwards on those walkways pretty much every time I go.

It’s not a moving walkway. It’s a moving belt you stand onto and stop. You cannot walk any further forward because there’s a person in front of you. You cannot walk backwards because another person is now behind you. You’re standing in the exact spot you stepped right onto the belt on, and you stay put. That’s now your spot.

Y’all all are overthinking this.

I don't know that I'm overthinking it so much as clearly not understanding the set-up. It's going to be moving single-file, not horizontally (as in, facing into a scene and moving to the side)?

You start facing forward. Can turn to your left. Turn to your right. As needed. Scenes on both sides of you throughout the experience. Not all on one side. Might be a scene on your left. Then scene on your right. Than above you. All around you. Etc. Just rotate your body as needed.

I’m not sure, but people may be staggered to one on right side of belt and then one on left side of belt then right side of belt and so on, so there’s always room around you to reach your arm out and shoot the blaster.

What about groups of people?

I'll be fascinated to see how they control the flow of guests if there really won't be anything preventing people from lingering forever in a scene, walking backwards to a previous scene, or walking quickly ahead into upcoming scenes. There has to be something, right?

I am fascinated by what you thought this attraction would be. Standing on the Universal CityWalk moving walkways going past TVs? I always assumed it would be like the Pets "explosion" scene, but take out the ride vehicles and it's multiple room concepts. Less TSMM and more Buzz.

But seriously, I was picturing something moving guests sideways through scenes like Midway Mania, yes. Especially with all the initial talk about how Universal was sort of throwing this together quickly, and how it might be temporary-ish (which now seems not the case), and how little of the building they're actually using for the experience, my initial assumption was formed by the belief that Universal wouldn't be creating much in the way of environments for this attraction and would need to tightly-control where guests are looking. Hence, moving sideways looking into a scene, rather than moving through a scene.

Fascinating. I always imagined the theme would be the booths at Villain-Con so each one would have sets, depth of field, interactive elements, projection effects, etc. They'd be on both sides of you so everyone gets a chance and there will be bonus points above/below/wherever. Like this, but on a conveyor belt, more effects, etc.

I hope this is a modern Buzz tbh, that’s fun visually but nothing really moves. If this is same with actual sets/effects then this will be fun and more than fine enough.

The maintenance and budget is also likely going to make it an easy installation into a bunch of parks (*looks at Frisco and Vegas*).

Don't feel bad because this is literally exactly the way I was imagining the attraction, especially with all the talk of how small it is.

If they catch you trying to walk off with a device, they will make you marathon F&F Supercharged the rest of the day.
