That's suboptimal. Tinker around with the head shape/size? Fine. Give him a boring outfit? Okay. But he has to be green. He looks like he's got mild jaundice.

It's just a promo image so I'm sure he will be more green in the final film, at least I hope so. Looks too normal lol

I forget he's in this film...since he has not been in one scene in the trailers

This film has a lot to juggle....so hope its good

Also like Thor Ragnrock....wondering if they are just using half of Hulk's movie scripts on other films again because a lot of this film is tied to the Hulk

It definitely seems like a Hulk story without the Hulk, which is a bizarre choice.

On the other hand, I think the MCU has botched Bruce Banner so thoroughly since RAGNAROK that I wouldn't be all that excited if he were in the movie, either!

They've turned him into mostly a goofball comedy relief character, which I really don't like as a fan of the tormented, haunted, never-at-peace-for-long comic book version of Banner.

I hear a lot of people don't like the hulk now

I mean i get it for Endgame why he was that way...but he's suppose to be a smart man with a monster inside him with the control he's kinda just another hero

The Leader has been in several bits and pieces of the trailers - in some you see his green tinted hands, others he’s lurking in the background, and in some he has voiceover work.

I’m stoked to see him back. Norton’s Hulk is by far the best Hulk (not saying much) and I was excited to see the Leader teased. It might be a stretch of storytelling to explain who he is and remind folks where he came from, but maybe this movie takes on a completely different approach on his origins. I’m excited for this movie…more so than most marvel projects recently

EDIT: and to say all of that - this is the same damned company that had the rights to Abomination and completely nerfed the character in She Hulk…..so maybe I’m wrong and shouldn’t get my hopes up.

I don't know the comic version but Abomination in she hulk was one of the only things I enjoyed in that show and I wish he was used more. I liked him.

The MCU's "Smart Hulk" is a take on "Professor Hulk" in the comics, but the only real connection is that Banner is mostly in control while Hulked-out.

In the comics, Professor Hulk is actually a synthesis of three personalities (Banner, the green Savage Hulk, and the more amoral and devious Grey Hulk). He's got Banner's intellect and memories, the rage and strength of the Green Hulk, and some of the slightly crooked impulses of the Grey Hulk. He's a terrific character in the books.

In the MCU, he's basically just fully Banner's (now goofy) personality in the Hulk's body. A big waste of potential.

I'd love to see him in a movie.

If Marvel is so dedicated to the idea that the Hulk has to be funny, there's a very funny movie to be made with Joe Fixit as a mob enforcer in Las Vegas.

I think Hulk material fits really well into a Captain America story. Especially in the MCU, the origin of Cap and Hulk are incredibly intertwined. With the introduction of a new non-serum enhanced Captain America and a new Hulk, there's a lot of room to build a story around who deserves the serum, the military's role in the creation of more super-soldiers, and an opportunity to show that a less physically powerful Cap can still best an ultra powerful equal.

Will they do it in any kind of interesting way? Who knows, especially after those reshoots. But I can see the vision.

Good

Most films don't need to be over 2 hours

Avengers films and other big team up films go for 3 hours but single character focus films under 2 hours please

How refreshing I can finally go see a film in theatres and not have to stress about a bathroom break. This alone will get me to see it in the opening weeks.

It's good that the final film hopefully won't be bloated or over-long, but I just wonder how many expensive shoots and scenes were cut to get to this point. Thor Love & Thunder was the worst example of that; hours worth of cameos and unfunny improv cut, all ballooning the budget.

I hope Marvel can find a way to rein in those costs for future films; in ways that don't lead to a worse film, and more importantly, poor working conditions for the VFX workers tasked with pumping this stuff out with as little time and money as possible.
