Dead by Daylight - Location: Soundstage 24A

Facade
As we turn the corner of 24A's curtain corridor, we see the MacMillan Estate. Thunder cackles, beartraps await on the ground of the area, and an open door to welcome us into the warehouse, or more accurately, the Entity's Realm.

Scene 1
We enter the mineshaft warehouse, and almost immediately from our left, the Trapper swipes at us with his cleaver. We walk further in and see Dwight caught in a beartrap, pleading to us for help, and Meg jumps out to us for help, but gets grabbed and pulled back by the Trapper. We exit out of the shaft through a large door.

Scene 2
It's cold and a bit brighter here, but not much better otherwise. Surrounding us are wrecked cars, and not too far in front of us is a bus cut in half. We hear the constant ringing of a bell in the distance, as hidden mirrors around the cars trick us, before suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere, the Wraith attacks! We try to get away by entering the bus, to which we get a surprise scare from Jake when he pulls down a pallet, thinking we're a killer. We then exit through a hole on the side of the bus and out into a large open area.

Scene 3
We're now at Coldwind Farm, and to our left is the Thompson Estate, where we see Claudette run across the patio and through a window as the Hillbilly chases from close behind, chainsaw in hand. We then go through the claustrophobic cornfield, where we hear screams and chainsaw revving all around us, growing ever so closer. We think we might just be in the clear, before charging at us is the Hillbilly with his chainsaw! That sends us running straight into another Hillbilly up ahead, who sends us running out of the cornfield and into a shack with a meathook inside, survivor struggling against a spider claw.

Scene 4
We exit the shack and now find ourselves at Crotus Prenn Asylum, with shrieks heard in the distance. Through a window (screen) on our right, we see the Nurse at a far distance, before reaching her arm out and suddenly disappearing... Before lunging at us from our left with her bonesaw! She teleported from the outside fields and straight to us! Just before we turn the corner and exit, a bungee scare from a dark strobing hallway sends the Nurse flying at us, making an illusion like we're watching her teleport to us!

Scene 5
The corner transitions us into Lery's Memorial Institute. The cold, wet hallways of the abandoned hospital are covered with leaking water and dry blood. Before we even have a chance to process all of this though, The Doctor emerges from behind the door and shocks us, giving out his menacing laugh as he does! We enter the registration area and begin seeing the Doctor everywhere due to his shock therapy, unsure of which ones are real and which ones are just hallucination. Two of the six turn out to be real and try and strike us with their batons before we go through another door and into the Yamaoka Estate.

Scene 6
Just outside the dimly lit temple, we hear roars of anger, as the Oni begins charging at us from the stairs! We quickly turn right and inside, but he's already caught up to us and attacks again with his blade! We walk past the generator in the center of the room, Feng desperately trying to fix it, which serves as a distraction as shifting out of nowhere, the Spirit attacks with a blade and her deafening scream! We quickly run through the door and out of the temple.

Scene 7
Exiting the temple, we're now outside in a small western town, yeehaw! We hear laughter, as on the balcony above, the Deathslinger takes a shot at us with his chain gun, sending an air blast scare onto us as we enter the saloon. Inside, the piano is going wild with music, and the Deathslinger laughs at us as he tries to swing his gun onto us. We pass by the deserted tables and exit through a very old, broken door.

Scene 8
Through the door, we enter a very lit but seemingly mutated laboratory, with inhuman, powerful groans/roars echoing throughout. Then, charging down a hallway right at us comes the Blight! He roars at us and swings his bonebuster all around, before injecting himself with his syringe and rushing back. Turning the corner, he appears yet again with another roar, swiping his bonebuster at us! We exit the laboratory through a large doorway.

Scene 9
We find ourselves in a dark, menacing and bloody house. Creeks and groans echo throughout it, with a staircase to our right, from underneath emerges the Dredge, attacking us, and the only sounds coming out of it being that of all the souls its taken. As we go further into the house, we're surrounded by multiple lockers, some of which have broken locks on them, all of them having banging on the doors. Through one, Dwight jumps out and screams as a distraction, as just ahead the Dredge breaks out of one and roars at us. Before we leave the house, the Dredge appears one last time from a red room above, striking down at us with its multiple claws and knives. We leave the house through the backdoor.

Scene 10
Finally, we're in the dreaded basement. On the four meathooks are survivors being taken to be devoured by the Entity. This only serves as a distraction to guests, as all the other original killers who didn't get dedicated scenes attack us in the dark basement, and finally, one final scare from above as the Entity itself comes down to devour our fear. We finally get through the exit gate just in time and think our trial is finally over. We see the outside, the soundstage exit, the house is over! From behind the black curtain though, the Trapper attacks us one last time with his cleaver, sending us running out.

Five Nights at Freddy's - Location: Villain-Con Queue/Old Shrek Theater

Facade
In the darkness of the night, we approach Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, where an old and dusty cardboard Freddy Fazbear welcomes us at the entrance. We step through the doors and into the moist pizzeria.

Scene 1
It's the dining area, and we pass by the stage, with only Freddy on it. We turn to the left and pass by Pirate's Cove, with the curtains closed. Foxy pulls open the curtains and roars at us with a swing of his hook as we enter a door.

Scene 2
We find ourselves in the backstage room, with dozens of animatronic heads sitting on the shelves, staring with empty lifeless eyes. An endoskeleton is sitting on the desk, and while it doesn't attack, its head follows us coldly as we leave the room.

Scene 3
We head towards the office, and on our right is a closed door for the supply closet, to which Bonnie then opens and screams at us! Turning the corner, we enter the office, where a dead guard is limp on the floor, being eaten by Chica, who keeps repeating the same line "Let's Eat!". We go through the security door, but not before one last scream and laugh from Freddy!

Scene 4
We're now in the Parts & Service room of FNaF 2's pizzeria, with decommissioned animatronics sitting around us. Of them, only Withered Bonnie and Withered Foxy attempt to strike at us as we make our way towards the door.

Scene 5
We find ourselves in the main gift/lobby area of the shinier restaurant, and an immediate welcome from Balloon Boy in his cold robotic 'Hi!' and laugh. As we try to traverse our way through the maze of gift boxes, the Toy animatronics lunge at us from behind the arcade cabinets and gift piles.

Scene 6
Before we exit the pizzeria, we gotta pick up a cool plush from the prize corner! And who better to reward us than the Marionette, making a very quick jump out of his box towards us. As we run out, one last scare from above comes as the Mangle dangles out of the vent, trying to bite at our head.

Scene 7
We finally find ourselves in Fazbear's Fright: The Horror Attraction. Phone Guy's training tapes play on the loudspeaker above as we enter the gloomy, wet and dark corridor. As we turn the corner at the end of it, Springtrap tries to strike us with a butcher knife and his scream!

Scene 8
We continue into another hallway, where a Phantom Freddy awaits at the end as a distraction, meanwhile Springtrap lunges at us again from a vent on the wall, causing us to run straight into Phantom Freddy at the end.

Scene 9
One last hallway awaits as all the Phantoms attack from every side, screaming at us, wanting vengeance so badly. In the background, we hear fire cackling growing louder and louder.

Scene 10
We're now in the office, with the attraction on fire and burning around us. Desperately trying to still kill us though is a burning Scraptrap, attempting to use his now broken arm as a machete! However, we narrowly escape into a black curtain corridor, the end of the house!... or so we think, as one final scare lunges through the curtain, Nightmare Fredbear, sending us running out.

Iron Maiden: The House of Eddie

Description: Through out the band’s history, their mascot - Eddie The Head - was everything in between with Terror. Come experience the historical timeline of him and his actions of carnage and heroism. No matter how much of a fan you are, he’s there to bring chaos to you.

Facade: A large head of Eddie has opened his mouth for you to enter. You walk through a dark tunnel of Iron Maiden album and single covers with some photos of the band themselves live, including former members such Paul Di'Anno and the late Clive Burr.

The Birth of Eddie: The fist scene of the house is the Labor Room where Eddie’s mother was pushing hard as she could to give birth to his son with the help of her doctor and nurses in their surgical getup and some stitches on their face around the eyes. You look at it to see the process; but once you extend to the delivery room, Eddie’s mother is resting peacefully, taking deep breaths. The Doctor pops out of the bed curtains, showing the Head of Baby Eddie to the guests and screams “It’s a boy!”

Birthday-Head-Body-Bash: You walk through Eddie’s fifth Birthday party in a dark living room. Everything is normal, including decorations and a folding dining table with cake and presents. Eddie’s parents are New Wave British Heavy Metal-era, talking to their son who is placed on a mantlepiece. They tell him how old he is, and they got the most special present for him. Young Eddie replies “Oh no! Not another fucking hat!”

Coming out of the closest doorway for a scare is Eddie’s headless body, wearing a T-Shirt that says “Birthday Boy” with cute-looking animals on it and casual childrens shorts.

Self-titled Album: You walk through a British city walkway in London that is dark and shady, on the right side of the room is the Harris Pub named after the band's bassist and founding member, Steve Harris. You see a metalhead, trying to find a hiding spot. After you pass through the pub, Eddie - in his zombie-looking form - jumps out of the alley on the right side of the room in his casual outfit, attacking guests with a dagger. This scare method is a reference to “Running Free” from the self-titled album.

The walkthrough of the city continues, you'll notice a small drug store called Paul’s Drug Store & Pharmacy named after the band’s original vocalist Paul Di'Anno. Across from it is a usual British City home with Union Jack Flag, hanging between the door and upstairs window. A female soldier with a machine gun jumps out of her home’s doorway, scaring the guests off to the next room by shooting them, as a reference to “Women In Uniform.”

Killers: You then walk through a bedroom that has all the basic furniture and other needs required, including a screened window on the right of the room and a full body mirror. Lying on the floor is a woman in a nightgown who was killed with an axe on her chest. The mirror itself may seem normal. But when the lightning strikes with the loud, roaring thunder you see on the window screen, Eddie appears in the flash on the mirror as a ghost, holding his axe and giggling sinisterly. This is not only a reference to the album cover of Killers, but also the single cover of “The Twilight Zone.”

The room extends to the Purgatory Waiting room where Eddie is sitting on a couch impatiently with corpses next to time, arguing over the long wait in the room and saids “C’mon, what’s taking him so damn long. I wanna get this over already.” The handbooks of the deceased are placed on the table next to the couch. A devil jumps out at guests behind the desk, yelling at them that there is no judgment and they’re going to Hell. This scene is a pun and reference to the single “Purgatory.”

The Number of The Beast: You walk through the fiery, cavern-like world of Hell where Eddie is after being dropped from Purgatory with some burnt scent and small eruptions of smoke screen. All the devils were brutally tortured and burned by the band’s mascot, locked in hot iron cages who beg you for help. Satan’s headless body is sitting on his throne, blood streaming down. As you get closer to the end of this room, Eddie pops out of the boo hole in his metalhead outfit, attacking guests with his guitar. Satan’s head is attached to Eddie’s belt chain wrapped around his waist. This room is a reference to the self-titled song from their third album “The Number of the Beast.”

Piece of Mind: You’re transported in a padded cell maze with chains and bloody bandages hanging on the ceiling to block your, as the lobotomized patient Eddie struggles madly in his straitjacket and chains on one of the right corners of the maze. You’ll see some writing on the padded walls like “Lemme out!” and the lyrics of “Still Life” as an overall reference to the cover of the Piece of Mind. As you get closer to the end of the maze, two Eddies as Jack the Clown and Chance attack from both sides.

The room then extends to a war zone in the woods with several corpses of the defeated soldiers on the floor. Some of the trees are down, and the canons are also destroyed. Coming out of the trees and bushes is a grim reaper who attacks the guests with his scythe. After the reaper, Trooper Eddie then comes out of the small shack that is stacked with sandbags, pointing at the guests with his sword to attack while waving a small Union Jack flag and screams “For Great Britain!” This scene is a reference to the single cover of “The Trooper.”

Powerslave: You then enter a dark Egyptian tomb of Mummy Eddie with a modern spin that looks like an apartment home in a living-room, including a couch, a table, and a TV on, playing live videos of Iron Maiden. The walls are mostly artifacts of Eddie in many different variants and also as The Director, The Storyteller, The Usher, and Lady Luck. Seven sarcophaguses/coffins are placed around the room with faces of band members from the current lineup, but one is open where Mummy Eddie pops out of his coffin, yelling at guests to get out before entering the next room. This scene is a reference to the Egyptian themed album cover of Powerslave.

Somewhere: You’re back at the British city walkway with futuristic settings and styles in the year 3022. You’ll see a restaurant called Bruce’s named after the band’s current vocalist Bruce Dickinson, but an alien runs of the building, shooting wildly with his laser gun at guests and saids “That this you pathetic humans!”

On the other side of the scene is a flower shop with rotten flowers on display called Nicko’s Flowers named after the band’s current drummer Nicko McBrian where the Cyborg Eddie runs out of the building, firing back at the alien to shoot back to the other side of the room with his laser gun. At the front of the scene is another pub called Adrian’s named after Adrian Smith where you enter the next scene of the room. This scene is a reference to the album cover of Somewhere In Time.

You’re in the futuristic pub, and everyone has been shot. Almost all of them have been shot to death by Cyborg Eddie. The bartender leans on the bar, vomiting blood out of his mouth after being shot. He struggles to stand up more straightly, extending his left arm up for help until Eddie runs out of the boo hole in his space cowboy getup, shooting at the bartender to put him down and at the guests to scare them off before entering the final room. This scene is a reference to the single cover of “Stranger In A Strange Land.”

Live After Death: The final room of the house is a graveyard where you see tombstones with not only the band’s members names from the current lineup, but also some former members and the mascot’s creator Derek Riggs. Eddie is rising out of his grave, being struck by lightning endlessly with loud thunder. His metal screw cartouche from his lobotomy treatment from Piece of Mind lights up brightly. The tombstone behind him has his name on and an H. P. Lovecraft quote that reads "That is not dead which can eternal lie, Yet with strange aeons even death may die."

When you get closer to the exit while experiencing the setting of the final room, another Eddie jumps out of the tomb gate as Albert Caine the Caretaker, scaring them off with the icon’s big, bloody surgical scissor before exiting the house. This room is a reference to the live album cover called Live After Death.

Naraku: A Feudal Horror

Description: Travel back in time, as you encounter the notorious demons In Feudal Japan, and the master of manipulation; Naraku. Inuyasha and Kagome won’t save you from The Nightmares in the Land of The Rising Sun. Everyone is manipulated, and you can only do it yourself.

Facade: You’re at the Higurashi Shrine that is the home of Kagome Higurashi in present day Tokyo, Japan. It’s nighttime and everything seems peacefully quiet until you notice some unfamiliar lights and flashes from the wellhouse that is the actual entrance of the house. You could hear Kagome screaming and calling her brother Sota for help.

Inside The Wellhouse: Unlike In the anime and manga, there is more than one Bone-Eater’s well. The front of it is where you enter to the Feudal era while the other two on both sides is where the Mistress Centipede erupts herself to scare guests on either side. Her lengthy body is everywhere around the walls. Bones are also everywhere on the floor, including Kirinmaru’s right arm that was cut by Toga and later dispatched by Riku.

Inuyasha No Mori: You’re now in the dark forests of Feudal Japan in a sealed area. On the left, you see Inuyasha in his full youkai on the sacred tree awake after 50 years, peeling and ripping the roots off to get himself off and making some monstrous sounds. As you keep walking through the dark forests, you’ll notice the main character was finally off the tree, jumping out aggressively to attack and finally Naraku makes his presentation with a scare in his baboon skin and mask before you enter the next room.

Miroku’s Fate: You’re In a zen interior where Miroku is cursed by Naraku placed with a wind tunnel on his left hand. The curse was powerful enough to be uncontrollable to him, as you feel the wind effects that caused a horrible mess in this room, as the interior extends with his fate, getting sucked into the tunnel. His skin is completely gone, blood streaming down into the tunnel with some parts of his outfit torn apart. Naraku quickly opens the sliding door to scare guests with a sinister chuckle.

Yokai Taijiya Village: The home of Sango and Kohaku is under attack by Naraku and his army of Youkai with monstrous sounds in the background. Corpses of the defeated Demon Slayers are laying on the floor and one of them is dying who cries for help and recovery, as the creatures attack the guests left and right, hiding in destroyed homes. The room extends into a shack where Kohaku brutally tortures Sango with his bone sickle filled with corpses of his family and comrades. Kirara (In her saber-toothed cat form) roars out of the boo hole to scare off the guests before entering the next room.

Kikyo’s Resurrection: You’re in a dark tunnel cave where you see Kagome trapped in a tub filled with herds while struggling, as Urasue attempts to extract her soul. You could also see the sorceress baking with human remains and graveyard soil. The resurrected Kikyo - as an older lady with an uglier look - pops out on the other side of the room to scare off the guests to the next room.

The Extended Tunnel: You continued to go through the tunnel where Naraku’s army of Youkai are locked behind barriers left and right with some wind effects. Kanna is standing still, holding and displaying her mirror in front of you as Kagura attacks guests with her fan and showing a severed head of Shippo.

Naraku meets Onigumo: You’re out of the cave back in the woods where you come face to face with the former resurrected bandit Onigumo. He jumps out of the trees and bushes for a scare, faceless with a spider shaped scar on his back, wearing no clothes except a fundoshi (traditional Japanese loincloth), then you see him stealing his victim’s face, and finally becomes a victim of Naraku. The main villain of the house reabsorbed him from their connection and took back his human heart.

Deforestation: All the trees in the woods were chopped down and blown off by Inuyasha with his Tessaiga. The first scare you get is Kagome who instantly notices that you’re from the present era. She yells at you and begs for help, saying she was having trouble finding the Bone-Eater’s well. You could tell she wants to go back home with her sleeves of her school uniform ripped off, midriff revealed and coated in blood, scars and scratches after surviving many youkai perils. As you keep walking through the deforested area, Inuyasha - in his full youkai forms - jumps down in front of the guests with his Tessaiga, scaring them with his wind scar attack, and the addition of wind effects before you enter a destroyed village shack.

Rin’s Abduction: Just like outside of the shack, everything inside is destroyed. Kaede was squished by the one of the trees Inuyasha chopped with his Tessaiga, breathing deeply and suffering in pain, hiding in the shack are Rin and Kagura where both of them popped out to scare guests. The innocent girl was kidnapped by one of Naraku’s incarnations in her grip, threateningly yelling at you to get out and leave or she’ll slice Rin’s throat with her fan. You could hear the girl crying and calling Sesshomaru for help.

Trail of the Bamboo Forest: Naraku’s army of Youkai are swarming up in the air with lightning strikes, but below is where you see Kagome’s fate. She was brutally dismembered by both Full Youkai Inuyasha and Koga who is also violently aggressive, fighting and arguing over the ownership of the torn body. As you keep walking through the trail, guests get a double scare from both Inuyasha and Koga with their own attacks.

Mt. Hakurei: After walking through the bamboo forest, you then go through the barrier, and enter the cave of the mountain. Kagura leans on the right next to the entrance of Hakurei, holding the Infant with a threatening look on her face, as she looks at you and runs in front of you with a fan attack. Inside the mountain is pitch black and everything is dark until you get one last scare from not only Naraku in his final form, but also Hakudoshi with a massive strobe light effect before exiting the house.

I got some help with a friend on the HHN discord in rewriting this original fan house. Hope you like it, and post your thoughts.

Sirens of the Sea
Location: Sprung Tent 2

“In the coast of the Northwest Pacific lies a beautiful beach house, harboring a deadly secret. And this Spring Break might also be your last.”
—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Backstory: In the 1700s, there once lived a group of settlers in the Pacific Northwest who worshiped the Ancient Deities of the Sea. They lived a peaceful life, until the British Army aka the Redcoats came and stripped them of their land, forcing them to either serve them or die. When the settlers refused, the British began killing them all, leading to a massacre, with many forced to flee their home. Seeking revenge, the last remaining maidens prayed to the Deities of the Sea to help them reclaim their land. Their prayers were answered, but came at a terrible price. The maidens were stripped of their humanity, transformed into a series of demonic, flesh-eating mermaids. With their razor-sharp claws and jagged teeth, they tore through the British and wiped out every living creature. And though they had reclaimed their land, their newly aquatic bodies could not sustain themselves on shore, forcing them the flee into the nearby waters…

As the years and decades went by, and the old settlement was rediscovered and began to grow, a strange series of disappearances occurred along on the shores. People had claimed to have seen half human, half fish like beings roaming the beaches. Others swore they could hear singing in the night, beckoning them towards the seas…

In the modern day, the shores have become a popular beach area for tourists, with lavish beach houses for cheap. A group of college kids have made their way to the shore for the ultimate Spring Break experience… And they’ll soon discover the dangers that lurk just below…

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Facade/Queue: Guests enter the queue next to the MIB exit. As the Guests round the corner, they see a large Beach House with a few cars parked out in front. On the 2nd floor, B-roll plays from the college students’ social media pages; It includes clips of two of the kids (Sam & Chrissy) looking to hook up, Jordan setting up for a massive house party, and Rebecca filming the ocean, where we see a strange creature appear from the ocean briefly. Guests will also hear audio of the ocean before a distant voice begins singing to them, ending with a demonic scream.

Entrance: Guests enter through the side patio door, making their way down a false outdoor patio. They head towards the Sprung Tent entrance on the left, where they’ll see blinking lights and hear loud music playing. Before they enter the Tent, a Mermaid pops out from behind the beach door.

The Living Room: Stepping inside the Tent, Guests walk into the Living Room that has EDM music playing, with a small light shining bright colors on the walls. Several pieces of furniture are scattered around with huge claws marks in them, including the couch on the right side, several chairs and a table littered with beer bottles and cups. From behind the couch, one of the college kids (Chrissy) is seen limping around with the side of her hoodie torn up and a huge bite wound in her left side. She is heard calling out for the others, and as the Guests move towards the end of the scene, a mermaid is hiding behind a corner on the left.

The Kitchen: Turning right, and entering the Kitchen, Guests will see another kid (Rebecca) lying on the center kitchen island. She is laying on her back with her stomach and chest ripped open. Standing over her is a bloodied Mermaid who proceeds to bite into her intestines as Rebecca begs her to stop before screaming in pain. The Mermaid will also swipe at Guests as they pass by.

Hallway/Stairs: Exiting left from the Kitchen, Guests will pass by the stairs on the left side (indicating that they’ll be heading upstairs). We hear Chrissy calling for Sam, as Sam (actor) pops out of a small door beneath the stairs, searching for Chrissy.

Sam’s Bedroom: Entering the next room, we see a Bedroom that is slightly messy but relatively normal looking, with a large bed with white sheets on the left. Behind the bed are 2 corner closets and a cupboard. From the closet next to the bed, guests see Sam (actor) being attacked by a Mermaid (puppet), its arms wrapped around his body and attempting to bite into his face. Guests exit the room on the right.

Upstairs Hallway: Walking down a straight hallway filled with doors, guests make their way towards Jordan’s room. Sam continues to call out for Chrissy, while Chrissy responds faintly to follow her voice. As their dialogue ends, 2 doors on either side open and 2 Mermaids tag team the Guests. Guests will turn left at the end of the hallway. They can hear the sounds of someone being attacked.

Jordan’s Bedroom: Guests will walk in to find Jordan’s body lying chest down across the body, his head decapitated. Blood splattered across the room, the cabinets torn up with huge claw marks. Before exiting the room, a Mermaid pops down at guests from a hole in the ceiling.

Chrissy’s Bedroom: Inside the next room, Guests will find a room covered with broken furniture; The bed is snapped in half, the closet doors have broken panels, and cabinets have giant claws marks on them. Clothing is scattered everywhere and the light is broken, dimming the lighting in the room. Sam pops out from behind the Bedroom door, covered in scratches and torn clothing. He calls out for Chrissy, more desperate than before.

Attic Stairs: In a short transition hallway, making a sharp left turn, guests will see the Attic Stairs have opened (indicating we’ll be climbing upstairs). Chrissy’s voice is faintly heard calling for Sam, sounding slightly more demonic.

Attic: Guests will find a fairly open Attic with small bits of furniture on either side, including bookshelves, chairs, a small table and a couch. A Mermaid on the left side floor will swipe at Guests just as they enter the room. Guests will walk straight towards a huge hole in the wall, with the mangled remains of Rebecca’s body sitting off to the left side of it, before making a right turn. Another Mermaid pops out on the right, holding Jordan’s severed head.

Gazebo/Cliffside: Guests will find themselves outside the house, passing by a Gazebo on the cliffside. Inside the gazebo are a small set of dimmed lights, illuminating a silhouette of what appears to be a woman (Chrissy). She is heard singing a song, drawing guests closer to her. Sam’s voice can be heard calling out for Chrissy, interrupting her song. Guests pass the Gazebo on the right, noticing a set of stairs (prop) leading down the cliffside. On the stairs is a shred of Chrissy’s hoodie. Guests will make a right turn.

Cavern Entrance: Guests will enter inside a huge cavernous entrance, finding themselves surrounded on each side with damp, rocky walls. As they progress through, the walls will have more blood splatters on them. On the floor, various pieces of Chrissy’s clothing and accessories are seen. Around different corners, various Mermaids will pop out. Just before entering the final room, Sam’s voice can heard letting out a scream.

Finale/Mermaid Grotto: In the final room, Guests will enter a huge cavern filled with large coral pieces and piles of skeletal remains. Guests make their way in a half circle around a large cliff in the center. On the right, atop another cliff, Guests will see Chrissy, fully transformed into a Mermaid and covered in blood, watching Guests walking below her as the other Mermaids pop out. Before exiting the house, Guests will turn one last corner and see the mangled remains of Sam (actor) in his final moments. Half of his face and neck are missing, his clothes ripped to shreds. He reaches out for the Guests before Mermaid Chrissy pops out to deliver the final scare.
—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mermaid Designs: The Mermaids’ designs will change as the house progresses. On land, they appear mostly human, with many of their features being on a smaller scale. When closer to the water, towards the end of the house, they appear larger and more fishlike. The Mermaids have varying degrees of scales on their bodies, ranging between green and blue hues with hints of purple and yellow. Their hands (and feet on occasion) are webbed, with either sharp fingernails or large claws. Their eyes will either have slight discoloring (for the land Mermaids) or have full blackened fish eyes (for the water Mermaids). Their teeth are all jagged and razor sharp, with some mimicking a shark’s mouth or an anglerfish’s mouth. Each Mermaid has a slightly different feature, whether it’s a pair of gills on their neck, fins on their arms, or even a large shark fin on their back.

Gonna take on a big thing here story/lore wise:

Halloween Horror Nights XXXII: Revenge Has Never Been Sweeter
Following the events of 31, Major Sweets and Miss Treats are back with an even bigger Halloween event unlike anything the city has ever seen! And, to help get the word out about it, Major Sweets is collaborating with two fellow icons of Carey, H.R. Bloodengutz and Meaty Meetz! Of course, they will be sure to spread the fun around as much as they can, otherwise a certain entity won't be too happy.

Halloween Horror Nights XXXV: RUN For Your Life
For many years he's been waiting in the shadows for his time, always having the spotlight stolen by his brother, but now it's finally his turn. Eddie finally relishes his new Icon status in a pure slasher year, with the biggest, bloodiest episode of RUN aired to date!

Halloween Horror Nights XXXVII: Netherworld of Horrors
The big B-man, the ghost with the most himself has taken over Halloween Horror Nights to celebrate his 40th anniversary!

Halloween Horror Nights XL: War of Fear
Fear and the Heralds are released from the Lantern, ready for a horrific second ritual of Fear, only to come out and see the Pumpkin Lord has already laid claim to the event with his own Heralds (Major Sweets and more new Icons). This leads to an epic, bloody battle between the two eras of Icons, with us stuck in the middle.

I really wish the popularity of their original characters: Lil Boo, Pumpkin Lord, Major Sweets would inspire a second coming of new icons and cohesive park themes. H.R. Bloodengutz would be so easy because you can frame every house as a special presentation and continue his story of murderous revenge.

That might actually happen who knows what the future holds.

From the outside looking in, I haven’t seen anything about Sweets this year. That is drastically different from Lil Boo last year. My social media was clogged with them constantly. My gut says the Boo popularity dragged the Pumpkin Lord back this year. By himself, the Lord wasn’t that popular. But Boo needed some justification to return so they brought the Lord back.

Lil Boo connected with audiences in a way I hadn’t really seen since carnival Jack (2007). I get that fans like the other characters, but it takes a lot more than that for a headlining return. It’s not a formula. It’s lightning in a bottle.

Anyways can’t

Besides Lil' Boo, I think the character this year that's been getting lots of love from the community is Jumbo Grub in Bugs.

Spider Queen as the Icon for HHN 32 it is then!

They look great. I should have mentioned this. If anyone likes Sirens of the Sea or thanks to Sea World already using the house name Sirens: Demons of the Deep. I don’t mind if anyone wants to make a Sirens prequel house.

My alternate universe version lineup of Halloween Horror Nights: Sweet 16.

ICONS
Same as the real Sweet 16, Jack the Clown, the Caretaker, Paolo, and Storyteller combine forces.

HOUSES

Psychoscareapy: Maximum Madness (Soundstage 22)
- Same as before.

The Mind of the Director (Soundstage 23) - Instead of being a montage of movies, this would focus on the Director’s “films”, old (the bathtub, the jester) and new.

Psycho: The Return of Norman Bates (Soundstage in New York) - A proper soundstage is better off for this, as it recreates the Bates Motel as well as the Mansion.

Hotel Hell: Property of Caine Society (Earthquake Queue) - If Jack and Storyteller don’t get their houses back, neither will Albert not Paolo. A cursed hotel in New York is under new ownership by the wicked Albert Caine. Mayhem and cannibalism is afoot.

Dungeon of Terror: Classical Violence (Unspecified Location) - Don’t put anything in the JAWS Queue, without the extra space nothing will work. This would combine all the best elements of the previous Dungeon of Terrors and base it on revamped versions of Universal Classic Monsters.

The Mummy: Secrets of Ancient Egypt (Sprung Tent 2) - Semi-original take on the 1999 classic, not solely focusing on the main villain Imhotep, but a variety of mythological characters like Amut and Sekhmet.

Eddie Presents Disorientorium II (Sprung Tent 1) - Assuming Psycho is not the crazy house in this AU, this will have to do. Considering Eddie’s personality, this is noticeably much nastier than the original version in 2004.

ZONES

Horror Comes Home (Plaza of the Stars and Hollywood)
- Same as year but extended to the entrance of USF. None of the zones in Shrek Alley aside from American Gothic seemed compelling and it looked to be an odd place to put a scarezone in so its cut.

HorrorYork (New York) - The first ever scarezone from 1994 updated and transplanted in the New York area of USF. I was going to put this in Hollywood, but Horror Comes Home works pretty well as a lead in to the Arrival.

Harvest of the Souls (Garden of Allah) - Not broke, no need to fix.

Midway of the Bizarre (Amity) - I don’t know why they didn’t bring this back in 06.

SHOWS

The Arrival (Mel’s Drive In)
- Same but provide a better kill for the Director.

Bill and Ted - Don’t care.

Robosaurus (New York) - With Deadtropolis gone, remove zombie element.

Festival of the Dead - If infeasible as parade, make it a scarezone instead with all the floats.

Sweet 16 Lagoon Show - Keep the opening, but instead of movie clips, this would be like Fantasmic/World of Color and would go by these segments: Opening with birthday cake, Universal Monsters, Frightmares and Screams, Hail Imhotep, Jack’s partyhouse, A Gothic Night with the Caretaker, A Killer Story, Finale with Icons. The Director would host the entire show.

And that’s it.

Thinking on it. Hollywood style:

Theme: Come one, come all! (Shared)
Icon's: Hollywood Harry, Jack The Clown

Premise: As Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort prepare to unravel their largest event to date, it is thwarted by that of the arrival on both coasts: of crazed sensation Hollywood Harry, and the face of Halloween Horror Nights--Jack The Clown. Seeing eachother for the first time, the two lock it out to determine who's fit to lead the carnival once and for all.

Houses (Upper)
H1: Chucky's Funhouse - Step right up, step right up. From the Valentine collection, she brings to you that of the Good Guys! Come and tour into the new Good Guy showcase, and find out that not all is as it seems. From within this exhibition lies a sinister truth. Will you meet your friend to the end? (Location: TWDA)
H2: Spirits & Demons of The East - Deep within the carnival, comes a museum home to the wealth and history from famous Asian legends. Come face to face with legends you never thought were possible, and escape before you are claimed into their collective embrace. (Location: Parisian)

Houses (Lower)
H3: Friday The 13th: Hunter's Game - Rising from the depths of Camp Crystal Lake: Jason lives! Come face to face as you try to navigate the return of a true classic. (Location: JW Overflow)
H4: Psychoscarepy: The Carnival's Game - Deep within the mental institution known as Hillbrook, Jack and Harry are confined to a game of hate and anger. One night, the power goes out, and in doing so the compound becomes loose. Watch as war breaks out, to see who's the clown that stands supreme. Is it Jack? Is it Harry? You'll have to find out yourself. (Location: SS16)
H5: Universal Monsters Curtain Call 3D - Within the Carnival Theater, come face to face as The Invisible Man wishes to spun a tale, of a conflict revolving the protection of a place that is clashed by that of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and The Phantom of The Opera. As the Invisible Man's story is told, what unravels in this opaque world? ((Location: Mummy))
H6: Candyman - Step face to face as you are told the story, of The Candyman. Who is The Candyman? Within these tales become enveloped in their tales, for you can't escape him, once you say his name five times. This house is a tribute to the original 1992 classic and the 2021 cult hit. Care to be his victim? (Location: SS17)

Houses (CG)
H7: Stranger Things 4 - Return to Hawkins. Experience the return of Stranger Things, as this sideshow recounts to you the story of Vecna, and the path of destruction he seeks to bring to all. (Location: CG1)
H8: El Cucuy - Do you remember when you were afraid of the dark… the possibility that some horrible creature may be hiding in your closet or under your bed? People call him the Boogeyman, but in Mexico, he's known as "El Cucuy." Some say he's a shadow, an evil spirit that changes form to become whatever you fear. Some say he's a hideous monster that lives in the caves. But it's all just a myth, right? Or is it? (Location: CG2)

Terror Tram: RUN
Premise: As the war breaks out of the wards of Hillbrook, the carnival takes form completely to the Universal Backlot. For the war does not stop in one place. The war will be everywhere, as your prize to complete this game is simple. Your life!

Scarezones:
Sideshow Slaugherhouse (Location: Front gate)
Carnival of Carnage (Location: New York Street)
The Collective (Location: French Street)

Shows:
Jabbawockeez (Location: Universal Plaza, bleacher seating and new show configuration
Chucky's Cinematic Slashtacular (Location: DWT. Projection show shared with Lagoon, but entirely indoors as just the projections.)

Headliners: Jack, Chucky, Jason, and Vecna.

Good question: Why did I have Jack for a Hollywood event?

Merchandising.

Hollywood 2006-2009, slight retweakings when it comes to the Icons they had those years.

THE DIRECTOR, JACK, FREDDY KRUEGER, and JIGSAW

The story for 06’ was decent but it was weird how the marketing tried to be viral and “realistic” yet still market the Director as an Icon (even though the story was that they kicked him off Uni). The website would look like the typical bland HHN sites of today but via a “Hidden Mickey” of sorts would reveal The Director’s own hacked, warped version of the website where he personally invites you to become an “extra” or “star” in his masterpiece. This would be similar to the actual campaign they had that year with MySpace and Director sightings. However the adverts would also reflect the idea that Pavel has “hacked” into the ads. Eventually there would be “warnings” from Universal Hollywood to beware of the mysterious Pavel.

07’, 08’, and 09’ would have better websites of course. Jack would some viral videos of himself, but he, Freddy and Jigsaw would all fall suit; each would have announcement vids of the houses and zones where they themselves would introduce it. Robert Englund from the original NOES would reprise his role as Freddy in the adverts and in-park.

Instead of zombies/Welcome to Hell at the entrance, the zones would connect to the overall theme those years with oversized giant props (06- movie props, 07- Carnival boxes and frills, 08- Children’s toys and steel claws, 09- either Saw-themed machinery or Jigsaw-style movie theater gags). Jack would appear in person as an announcer similar to the Preacher/Ringmaster/Purge guy, but the Director and Jigsaw would only be seen on a giant screen, while Freddy’s presence would be alluded to with shadow projections and laughter.

In general, the themes (or aesthetics) would be pressed on more than it was in the actual years.

Queue videos for 06’ would show the “unedited” and in color cuts of The Director’s films and interviews with the Director himself. All years would have little “pre shows” where the Director, Jack, Freddy and Jigsaw would directly address the guests before the facades is revealed.

All icons would have cameos in each house and zone, projections on buildings, and voiceovers throughout the park (such as narrating the moving walkway).

Jack would have his own maze or he could have the Terror Tram focusing on himself entirely.

Each of them would have their own stage show. Jack gets his Carnival of Carnage from Orlando transplanted here (with Chance included). Jigsaw’s show would feature new traps designed for this show, and 06 would follow in a similar fashion. Freddy I’m iffy about, maybe a nighttime show?

This is not really a “Design a HHN” just something of a hypothetical “what if” I wondered about, based off a dream.

So Universal Studios Japan was kinda failing after its successful 2001 opening. What if they decided to host a Halloween Horror Nights in the 2000s? The idea is that they were hesitant to make their own content, so they borrowed a LOT of Orlando’s marketing and concepts.

USJ HHN 2006-2009

Mazes

  • Dungeon of Terror (2006)
  • Hotel Hell (2006)
  • The Mummy (2007)
  • S.S. Frightanic (2008)
  • Screamhouse (2009)
  • Psychoscareapy (2009)
Zones
  • Immortal Island (Jurassic Park)
  • Midway of the Bizarre (Amity)
  • Deadtropolis: Zombie Siege (New York)
  • Horrorwood from 1994 (Hollywood)
Shows
  • Terra Throne
  • The Arrival
  • Festival of the Dead Parade

In this AU, originally USJ featured tv ads used in 2002-2006 with a new Jack ad but the Icons were not present in the park. Due to complaints from guests, they were added in.

Hell’s High and Tombs of Terror were considered but the execs balked because they didn’t want to have a licensing problem with the Michael Krueger character for the former, and for the latter the execs preferred the more ominous Screamhouse. Thunderdome from the original Fright Nights was considered but execs pushed for the more elaborate Terra Throne set.

Not a full house treatment, but some overall ideas.

The Backrooms (Location: F&F Queue)
  • The queue section would be the classic yellow, empty offices. It's Just a Burning Memory and Childishly Fresh Eyes would be playing subtly in the queue before you enter.

  • Lots of mirrors to make the office seem endless.

  • This house, like Coven, would be much less about scares and more a quiet, eerily empty atmosphere.

  • The outdoor transition between the queue and tent would be you exiting Level 0, entering an outdoor level, to then immediately enter an endless neighborhood (the tent), full of old houses that seem all too familiar.
