I'm curious to see what happens with Universal's philosophy of "please use all the available space"...or as the kids call it "packing in as many people to the tightest most efficient space possible".

As much as I think we will be in a good place vaccination wise, there is still some unresolved new anxieties about being 'close' to people you don't know.

The easy answer is "Well don't go", and there is some validity to this, but they still have a philosophy that will be interesting to see in action post-pandemic

Personally, I'm probably going to wear masks for a very long time, even if they're not required. I was a very early adopter of the Moderna vaccine (vaccinated in October through the phase 3 trial), so I'm going to be worried about it wearing off by fall.

My best friend works at the CDC, and he heard that the booster shots should become available by the end of summer. So fingers crossed right in time for HHN

If you feel uncomfortable, I would definitely continue to wear one in the future..

I’m definitely with you on that, I see myself wearing masks for quite a while, especially during big events like HHN. Makes me feel safer and I also think that they look good if you buy the right ones. It’s part of my fashion now lol.

I'm thoroughly convinced that at least masks will be required. I still wonder if we'll see anything close to a "normal HHN." I feel like it might be a bit too soon, as great as it would be.

Worth noting after my post yesterday, Orange County accidentally shared dated info at their press conference. We are not at 35.7% vaccinated as previously posted. We are at 43.66%. 35.7% was the number last Friday.






Also worth noting that they expect to hit 50% vaccinated (Phase 2) within the next three weeks:

Same. I got vaccinated in early Feb/early March (Moderna). I'd like to get the booster end of August if available. I probably won't wear masks walking around, but will absolutely 100% wear a mask in line to get in the park, in any restaurant I go in, in any bathroom, at any show, on any ride, and through any house. For me, it's a minor inconvenience whose reward outweighs the annoyance.

Universal has been changing everything from 6 foot down to 3 ft markers.

Yeah even if you look at the photos from velocicoaster today (which I will get to ride later today), you can see that they aren't social distancing ride vehicles or anything like that. I can see Universal quickly removing all of their precautions and establishing a "do it yourself" mindset when it comes to practicing good health precautions.

Universal or Disney (and i'm sure Sea World is the same) aren't distancing on ride vehicles anymore aside from the occasional plexiglass. Every row is being used now.
