I have to laugh about the rumor that the NBA thing at Disney seems to have fallen through and Disney Quest seems to have been granted a reprieve (for the time being).

Meanwhile Universal will open something new in the former location that promises to be much better and draw more business. I think guests will find the offering quite toothesome.

The irony is NBA would be a much better fit for DTD, which actually could use a sports bar. Tens of thousands of "trapped" guests always looking for one those on the 80-odd nights a year sports bars do good business. CityWalk never had that captive base and was often dead by the time nighttime games get under way.

Since everyone seems to agree this is a chocolate place, will it be kid-friendly like Hershey/M&M store, or adult-oriented like Sugar Factory/Better than Sex?

Yeah, it will probably be called Better than Sex...I would expect a huge neon sign

Something like Max Brenner.

They are still working inside as of last Tuesday so someone has a plan and is paying the bills. It is gutted like they did with NBC and being rebuilt so that takes time.

They might just be going with an original idea. If any deal or talks fell through im sure they had back up plans.
