The park will not be open so no standing outside the land. I messaged their support to see if it'll be streamed on CityWalk and I'l update if I get a response

I hope this means we eventually get the musical block game. That would be a very easy thing to add to the land.

I feel like the side indoor area of Peach’s Castle and the icy area are the obvious places for mini games. Maybe they replace some of the power up band screens with a permanent drink stand too if Nintendo wants it

Glad to hear it sounds like they're listening to feedback and adding more things in time. Heres my own wishes on things to improve the land.

1) Toad M&G pleasepleaseplease
2) More menu items at the cafe, especially the Mario 64 cake.
3) more interactive games in spots that look sparse (Music Blocks hopefully?)

I highly doubt it. It's a bad idea from a marketing standpoint and runs the risk of people deferring trips into the future to wait for the next land rather than convincing people to come for this one.

You want the Opening to focus on the current new stuff, not what's next. Maybe they tease some of the things @Clive has alluded to, but I don't think we get DK.

I think the rumor of press event announcement is another thing that can be attributed to Core so...

Announcing an expansion before the land even opens just tells everyone that you screwed up and know it. Announcing it sometime after the land opens says it's successful and you are adding more.

Japan didn't announce DK at its opening ceremony. It was officially announced more than a year later.

Being able to see the projections from there makes me wonder if the starway another place to view it from if they do eventually make a show out of projection mapping. I'd imagine they can also play whatever audio on the Starway as well, unless it doesn't sound good in practice.
