I think they've been gone for a few months.

So, from the complete concept art, it show that Al's Toy Barn and the Woody's Round-Up area have been cut.

Man, that is going to be a short coaster. 70 secs. tops.

They should have actually included some of the small time rides from Paris and Hong Kong. It seems like every one of these new lands is missing a small piece of the puzzle that would complete it.

I will be surprised if this land is any good. Making cuts to an already lackluster addition is pretty lame.

Potato Head has been gone for months and months. Where he once stood is now extra queue space.

From what I understand, he's gone until they switch the queue over to the opposite side of the building when TSL opens. He is to return supposedly.

Yep, he will return once the new entrance and rearranged queue is complete.. There's a wall covering where he used to be.

Ah, thanks. I knew something seemed off about how the queue was. Though the just extended queue, didn't think about a wall being put up.

Yeah I was looking at that wall a lot the one time trying to figure it out and realized finally it was new and pretty permanent looking.

From WDWNT: Looks like Toy Story area is in fact finally started with construction. Member over at Magic, Danlb, pointed out that the dug out hole looks like conduit for the Alien Saucer ride.

So will the TSMM entrance switch be automatic or will it require a small refurb?

There will just be a short media event about the entrance change with a small hype on the blog for two weeks with people in construction hats.

If you count Dec. 31st 2017 is next year then yes! A spring 2018 is likely

They have given no dates so they can't be accused of missing a deadline. Most likely 2018ish for TSL and 2019/2020 (probably 2020) for SWL.

Yup, as I said the other day, if you compare Avatar and SWL directly, Avatar is going to finish Construction to Open at about 40 months. Stamp that onto SWL and you're looking at a late 2019/Early 2020 opening.
