Two things: I don't believe Universal could pull off acquiring DC without anyone hearing, we know how good they are with secrets. And as free with cash as they're being, you don't put that kind of money down for anything less than an immersive land.

I don't wanna say trolling. He very well could have his own sources who are saying different. It's when someone becomes relentless and insists they know better is when it crosses the trolling line.

I wouldn't be surprised if Uni gets the FL rights to DC or at least Batman in addition to Marvel. Gothem between Simpson's and MiB would rock.

Despite this being a dumb rumor, it would be pretty hysterical if Uni acquired the rights for usage of DC properties in USF while still retaining Marvel in IOA. Both comic book powerhouses on one resort property would be a nerd mecca, second only to Comic-Con.

Oh well, ain't gonna happen....

As long as they're getting a check, they won't care. Anyway, WB owns DC. And WB has a great working relationship with Uni.
