Hey guys look what I found, seems legit.
Jeesh, Is that all it takes to get some of you all riled up? How about some deductive reasoning.
1. Marvel Is right next door, neither company would allow this too happen.
2. Six flags own the rights to DC characters for their parks only, hence why you only see DC themed attractions at Six flags parks. Although Warner brothers own parks have the rights too, but that's understandable.
3. A whole new ride movie would have to be made, costing millions more. Not to mention set design, ride layout, score, graphics, ride queue videos.. you get the idea.
4. With Transformers, they have all that already, they have the plans, they have the movie, they have everything. All that it is costing Universal Is the construction, that's pretty much it.
So you see, with Transformers, It just makes sense. You've got a defunct Soundstage that hasn't been used for anything extensive In years so you have to remember we're not losing anything to make way for this attraction.
The reason I know they're adding this in is because -
1. It's proven.
2. Relatively cheap install from their perspective at least.
3. Most of all It's to take the heat off Potter when that arrives a year later. They've seen what happened with IOA (Intense crowds) and decided with "Phase 2" for the studios, they need to draw away from Potter when It finally comes. Which i know sounds ridiculous but it's true.
