Even though I cannot imagine why they would bring Transformers to USF, I can see where it could be done. Literally speaking, it would remove all sidewalks... but I am not sure that is necessary. USH in USF below.

Transformers wouldn't fit if they were only taking SS44. If Monsters went with it and they did some creative work with the sidewalks around the plot they could fit it. But no way could it fit in SS44.

Excuse me... that is the transformers building at 50' google maps. It fits. Please argue in detail why it doesn't?

Wait, what? The entire Transformers building is 60,000 sqft. SS44, the Shrek meet and greet, and the surrounding sidewalk is only 40,000

Are you saying 60K foot print or 60K of floorspace? Transformers in Hollywood is three stories high depending how the floors are diced up. SS44 is one story high.

Well, that's what I get for having little knowledge about the attraction. Thanks Teebin.

Wow. So Transformers can fit there. That's big.

For the record I don't think that is what's going there, but it's interesting that a ride of that caliber can be placed in that area. This has me more excited.

Let me ask you all your opinion. May be stupid but, think it could be possible to use the Transformers/Spiderman ride technology and create a ride based on How to Train Your Dragon? I wonder if the ride vehicles could be made to resemble a dragon in some way, basically being a harness you are sitting in which is hooked onto the dragon? I'm sure I'm stretching things here, but just trying to figure out a theme they could use instead of Transformers. I dunno. Maybe ignore this LOL.

I do not think it is likely, but deff possible.

That being said Spielberg has been on record NUMEROUS times saying Transfomers might/will make it out to Florida... Maybe we were not taking him literal enough.

Again, this is blind siding me, so whatever this is, kudos on the secrecy UC... kudos

I went through trademark filings last night, and nothing new has been filed, that could be related to this... at least nothing that I could find

There is nothing that gets me more excited than construction walls at USF. Now if they can just wall off the rest of Kid Zone minus ET, that'd be great.

So, this SS44 business isn't for HHN? What was the old soundstage that was confirmed to be used for a house? I really don't see the point in having Transformers across the way from Spider-man. I really don't.

SS44 was originally going to be a house. With what's happened the past week, I doubt it will be now.

Also, I doubt Transformers is going there. I think the discussion is more of what can fit in that space.

Yea, I know it is not likely. Just trying to think of something where they could possibly use the ride technology and overlay it with a different theme. How To Train Your Dragon could have been a decent possibility since the dragons fly, breath fire. Guess we play the wait and see game. :)

Personally, now that Universal has their own animation studio that's been putting out hits, I don't see them putting out the money for Dreamworks properties for the parks anymore.

Tweeted about it last night, but I'd really love to see a haunted soundstage dark ride here using the Uni monsters, but I know that probably won't happen.

Wait, what was Disney's idea for a haunted hotel for DHS before Tower of Terror? I believe they were teaming up with Mel Brooks to bring a spoof on the haunted hotel? Couldn't Universal ever do something like that but with their own monsters? The hotel can play into the whole sight line testing from the other day, not that this is what they will be doing obviously.

I just want to bring up my encounter with Mark Woodbury a few weeks ago outside of DM when he jokingly said about Transformers coming to Orlando, "Well you never know"... I also want to say he brought up Transformers in conversation and claimed it was his best attraction to date. On top of that there have been RUMORS forever about how there bringing the attraction here.

Yup. It was called "Mel Hotel" or something like that. Would have been a neat project, though ToT is definitely better.

Honestly, I would be surprised if it is TF in that space. I mean it would be AWESOME if that's what it is, but I would be surprised.

This this this. How great would that be? It'll never happen, it's kind of a conflict in demographic interests (it isn't a thrill ride so it won't appeal to many teens/young adults, but it'd likely be too scary for younger children...) but it could be amazing if executed correctly.

I would think Transformers would fit over by MIB/Simpsons... which leaves me at a loss for this plot. I dunno.
