Im just trying to lower expectations...another high cost attraction seems a bit crazy when a giant expansion is underway. All the budget should be used up by now.

When they came out and said they were buying the parks, I said it'd be the best thing to happen for Universal in a long, long time.:smiley:

Oh, and a permit has finally been posted for foundation and sitework for the project.

But that 2 story comment is definitely intriguing in its own right and could easily lead one to believe that it is one thing and only one thing.

Its possible we've had the answer from the very beginning and we keep talking ourselves out of it by over-speculating.

I said it in the beginning, where there is smoke, there is fire...and we might have some alien fire coming our way.

It is completely unclear on that front. That may sound bogus to some of you but really, that is Mark Woodbury kind of info. Park ops might get a two week heads up for a stage and mics. Entertainment might get even shorter notice. All depends on if it is rushed or planned.

Did a quick visit today and wanted to share what I saw. The entire old foundation is gone as is the old sidewalks and parts of the streets. They are nearly done ripping up the ground directly next to Monsters by the park. Also they have begun digging a long wide trench about 2 ft deep all along the back side of monsters. The entire site is almost nothing but flat dirt as dump trucks are brining in dirt and leaving with small amounts of the remaining rubble. Sorry no photos of the site as security seems to almost recognize me

Going back to the KUKA idea... there's no way that would work. Remember, TF is two stories with a rapid pace elevator that takes you up and down. How would you get a KUKA arm into an elevator without major issues?
