I would probably think that they would do the Scrapped Mexican Original based on Murdy's tweets. If they were to do Child's Play in any capacity it would probably be the TV Show or their own take on it. Not the remake.

I really hope they do this original, I’m mostly interested in what it is. Murdy said it needs a rapper, it’s scary, and it’s apparently pretty different. Can’t think of a Mexican Legend that’s THAT incomprehensible. Chupacabra wouldn’t be hard, La Llorona + El Cucuy have been done, and besides that Mexican folklore isn’t too difficult to adapt.

Edit - I really hope they do either La Lucheza or The Whistling Man. Moreso the former so that way we could get our first full on Witch themed maze.

He was more stating that the Maze needed a musical artist maybe even a rapper. I would think that they would go for a Rock Artist possibly.

It would explain why the story is possibly so complex versus just making a Original maze around a already known Folklore.

Missed that tweet, that changes a lot. Wonder if she would be the host of the Terror Tram like Hollywood Harry was or if Murdy would give her the maze treatment. Either way she seems like if she came she could somewhat be our “icon” like Harry sort of was

Judging by the fact that Murdy said that it was a Scrapped Original Maze that took place in Mexico and has a female original character. And was probably in the Metro Sets.

I totally thought he meant UCM for that, with the film being a massive crossover thing. Iunno.

I don't think it's another reason to dislike the quality of the maze but more the reasons it was done for. Although First Purge did rank in the middle of the GP rankings and did well in Wait times.

I still stand by the idea that Murdy could sneak his original idea in by branding it as something else, like "Crypt TV presents: La Bruja" or something. Gives you that sweet, delicious synergy and lets Murdy do his passion project.

EDIT: Maybe they'll do Child's Play 2. Feels like there's some good opportunities for reused sets and all that jazz.

So many good & original ways to tackle the properties. For Black Mirror they could use Bandersnatch, Playtest, and Black Museum, for Birdbox they could use

best thing about birdbox. the main characters wear blindfolds so the monster doesn't get them, easy black hall transition for murdy.

The topic has moved a little passed this, but assuming running Potter would come out of the HHN budget if they decided to open it, it could end up being pretty harmful to the event, as the main reason they avoid opening it is to keep costs on staff and keeping the rides moving down.

So I was watching The House That Jack Built and there's a super awesome bit at the end I would love to see (although the movie itself wouldn't work as a maze).

An entire house's structure made out of human body parts, it was just the right amount of gross, gory, disturbing and creepy.

Can't believe we haven't seen that as a maze or even a facade yet!

That would be such a great Texas Chainsaw Massacre bit. Indoor facade with that and I'll forgive Leatherface's encore appearance.

Yes, perfect for Leatherface or even Jason. Could've even worked in past mazes like Alice Cooper or El Cucuy, which already had dead kids on display in creative ways, this would've taken it up another notch! haha Also surprised I've never seen this at Knotts. I guess leave it up to Lars Von Trier's sick imagination to be the only one to do it.
It's now out for VOD! And I don't believe so, from what I read, it's not available yet and that I didn't miss much either.
