They wouldn’t be. They have PCI (Pandora Conservation Initiative) logos on them so they’re new to aid in the ongoing research and not for like war stuff. Also explains the color selection.
This girl sure knows her

Yes...It's the legs that really mess it up. They should have just designed it so it looks like an entire exo skeleton, then it would be OK. The fake legs make it look soooo amateurish.Overall idea is fine... just the look is awful. Maybe if they covered the legs?
Can we stick pins in his legs?
He already made an appearance today!
Look at the slashes on his right leg. Guess that illustrates how dangerous Pandora can be, and why researches may need such a heavy suit.
That doesn’t look that bad, maybe it’s the picture
Good to hear. I'll be there Wednesday again for more video! Now that spring break crowds have subsided, both FOP & Navii River had decent level times on their stand by lines so far this afternoon.
Yeah, it’s curious that this design is drawing ire. For me, it’s as if Disney is trying too hard and at the same time not trying hard enough. The whole Pandora thing strikes me this way.
Universal on the other hand has books or a library of films on a subject with a backstory to create from. Transformers to Jurassic to Potter... they really think it out and take the execution very seriously.
That’s my personal opinion anyway.
