I personally think the best idea for Pokemon based land would to use Fuchsia City from the original games. It has a Pokemon leader gym, a Pokemon zoo, a safari zone, a Pokemon center, all they would had to add would be a Pokemon contest hall.

Pokemon Zoo can be like Raptor Encounter, the Pokemon leader gym can be where you battle, the poke mart can be the restaurant/store, and Pokemon contest hall would be an interactive show and shopping experience while safari zone be an epic walk through and ride.

Oh yes, I got the two confused...thank you!

Pokemon would probably have to be a "Best Of Kanto" type area (Safari Zone from Fuchsia, Pokemon Lab from Pallet, Pokemon Tower from Lavender, Indigo League with a Pokemon Stadium interactive show, Pokemon Department Store from Celadon, Viridian Forest from Viridian, Mt. Moon from Pewter/Cerulean) in order to work well and best represent the franchise.

Fuchsia City or really any city on its own is too narrow of a focus IMO.

I definitely think a tour of the Safari Zone with a Pokemon Snap element would be an excellent family-friendly E-ticket! Maybe an alternate version in a boat to allow views of Water Pokemon? (climactic, life-size red Gyarados encounter at the end!)

Pokemon Tower practically begs for a ToT-esque E-ticket complete with a barrage of Ghost Pokemon and that eerie Lavender Town theme playing throughout the queue.

I'd also say a family coaster set inside Mt. Moon involving Team Rocket/legendary Pokemon could be fun and give Universal Creative a chance to show off their rockwork skills.

I do think there should be an attraction with "real" Pokemon battles. With the right budget and creative design, it could be a truly spectacular experience.

A Battle Frontier with many different elements from across all games. Focusing on any one generation would be a mistake imo. Interactive Pokemon Stadium would be a must.

You inspired something especially looking at the artwork of the battle frontier which will discuss tomorrow. But anyways as long as we don't get something like this if and when Universal gets the rights I'm happy.

I'd like music from that game though. The final boss especially.

Blue Sky Idea entirely which UC can steal without giving me credit and I would be completely content with:

Congrats Pokemon enthusiast! We welcome you to a new island resort created by Devon Corp (a large company that is based in Rustboro City in Hoenn region) for those who love Pokemon. Come where you will get your first Pokemon at the Pokemon lab where you can meet a series of top notch professors including the famed Professor Oak, and other professors who have last names that are tree times. See Pokemon hatch and play at the Pokemon Daycare center, watch and participate in ferocious Pokemon battles at our Pokemon arena, shop at one the largest Pokemon marts, become the champion by facing the Elite four, watch Pokemon show off at the Pokemon contests, play and win at the Team Rocket Hotel and "Casino" (dining area) and lastly experience Pokemon rare and exotic at the Safari Zone.

Now you may be wondering how do you get there? Well we at Devon Corp using our mining and construction skills have built a unique people mover that will take you from the mainland to the island, all you need is your island ticket and your Pokemon trainer card which you can create and make at the kiosks.

From there move into our people mover, Hogwarts express style with the windows showing an ocean Pokemon and flying Pokemon in the distance, moving at a continuous speed holding up to 8 people in a car. You get off and you end up in at the resort.

Pokemon Lab, Poke-mart, and Poke-center are the first things you see at the entrance and exit. Inside the Pokemon lab, you go and visit with of the 9 professors (will be 10 in December), who discuss the importance of treating Pokemon right and allow you to choose your first Pokemon out of 23 choices which will be used throughout the Pokemon resort. Once you get your Pokemon you and someone in the group in the room with you will get to battle each other just like in the real game with the use of holograms and musion screens. The poke-mart which is connected to the poke-center will be where you can buy cool drinks in the forms of potions and ether and even try rare candy for yourself and the poke center will be a place where you kick back and just enjoy getting out of the sun with some small merchandising aspects also the place to pay with your DS in the park.

Pokemon daycare center will be the meet and greet location for pictures with a lot of Pokemon and also a place for younger children who can't do a lot of big rides to play on intricately designed flat rides based on Pokemon. The meet and greet characters will also ride the rides with the kids and play with them in a level of interaction that is seen in the game and the TV show. This will also be where you can see eggs hatch baby Pokemon.

Pokemon Arena is a fast paced intense action show involving members of the audience who think they have what it takes to be the best Pokemon trainer in the world. Rent a set of Pokemon and battle others in the show in a ultimate showdown until there is one winner left who will be the champion and receive a special pin. The battle play will use holograms, physical effects, pyrotechnics and musion to create an image of battling.(note: not everyone will be able to battle so make a fair random system in place so many people will be able to experience)

For those who able to battle at the Pokemon Arena will be able to battle the Elite Four at the Elite four tower and fight a variety of 28 different trainers in Pokemon matches. (This would share a building with the Pokemon arena and Pokemon contest area).

For those who think using Pokemon for battle are wrong and don't understand Pokemon but like dressing up their Pokemon and pretty things can participate in the Pokemon contest where you dress up your Pokemon and present its moves to show that your Pokemon is either the most pretty, cool, beautiful, tough, or smart Pokemon there is! (Uses same things as the Arena just not action paced and geared for younger audiences). It also double as a Pokemon themed build a bear like shop.

The Team Rocket Hotel and "Casino" is a swanky awesome trendy local for dining like a true Pokemon trainer....enjoy poke-berry smoothies at the Pokeberry Cafe, Battle for your meal at Giovanni's grill, Enjoy a whimsical meal and meet and greet at Jesse and James Foodporium with dining entertainment by Meowth that's right and last have fun at the team rocket arcade full of Pokemon themed games.

Now the big thing will be the safari Zone which essentially would be Camp Jurassic meets Kilimanjaro safari and 20,000 leagues under the sea. Safari Zone will have caves with AA Pokemon popping in and out of random areas, it will have a forest area with bug Pokemon with their trainers showing them off, you also have the aquarium where you go under the water and see all sorts of rare water Pokemon with a small simulator ride simulating a sub. Then we hit the big E-ticket which is essentially an indoor/outdoor Kilmanjaro safari ride where you are able to see an assortment of rare Pokemon from Groudon, Mew, Zapados, until you end up in the Distortion World facing the fearsome Giratana.

I think you could easily squeeze all the into a 13 arce land and get tons of return on investment

You'd probably need 18-20 acres to fit all of that, but that's a great concept!

I like the idea of a PeopleMover meets HE type attraction zooming about the land offering great views of Water and Flying Pokemon! Would be a solid C/D everyone can enjoy

I think the Pokemon Daycare Center is a great way to incorporate some flat rides without using a cheesy Pokecarnival-type concept!

I like the Safari Zone concept, but I don't know if it necessarily needs the Distortion World. It doesn't fit the relaxed vacation vibe of everything else in the area. It could work as a roller coaster, though! Legendaries (especially flying ones like the three birds, Giratina, Rayquanza, etc) warrant a more thrilling ride system than Kilimanjaro Safaris IMO. I'd love to see some sort of mountain incorporated in the very back of the land./

More so I was thinking about how we could incorporate seeing as many Pokemon as possible on a ride without being too childish and with Safari I thought Kilmanjaro meets Indiana Jones. So you go through and everything starts out good until you go to where Mewtwo is held and he is furious. He is yelling we are not here to serve you humans and unleashes all the legendaries who come to attack you and right when you think you are safe you end up in Distortion world facing Giratina who isn't happy at all but lucky through the combined powers of everyone on boards Pokemon you defeat and make it back safely. I thought mainly about being able to make it where young children would still be able to experience and it warranted something grander than a family style coaster.

And you could fit it in 13 14 acres if they continue using the building upward method rather than outwards.

I think all you would need is the Pokemon Stadium* (sorry, not Arena). Contests and the Elite Four seem a bit excessive. So we have the Stadium, Safari Zone, the HE concept, Day Care, and Pokemon Center/Mart/Lab. Add in a Legendary E Ticket and we have a pretty great land.

*I always thought the Stadium would work as something you tried out for before hand with the competition going through the whole day and the audience just watching the amazing battles take place with one winner at the end. Think AIE but much, much better. Rental Pokemon would be the only option to keep it as fair as possible.

AIE and things like that take a good chunk of your day away from you and your family. Did AIE and Fear Factor both situations caused me to lose 4 hours in the park I could be something else (tryouts and then the actual show). I agree Elite 4 may be a little much but little kids dressing up their Pokemon and presenting them on stage would essentially be merchandise goldmine because a lot of parents aren't going to say no.

I heard rumors of world of Warcraft is getting their own land to ,this park could really be the best thing on earth , I have no idea about anything to do with WoW but the trailer looks amazing

If you heard rumors of it from minor websites with not a good track record; then i'd say to doubt that rumor.
A few years ago I heard that WOW was, at the very least, being considered for a UNI land/attraction. I have no clue if it went past the spitballing stage.

Talking to a friend Saturday night at CityWalk and we both commented that rumors about new attractions or lands aren't right or wrong, just "are they current". Nearly everything at one point or another has been proposed or looked at in some capacity.
