Seconding the recommendations for THE FUNHOUSE and WAXWORK. Both are pretty fun.

WAXWORK appears to be free (with ads) on Tubi at the moment.

Tubi and Pluto are both outstanding for horror.

With Tubi, I wish their genre categories were a bit more curated (you'll have certifiable classics mixed right in with DTV rubbish nobody's ever heard of, so that can make browsing a little tedious), but overall, yeah, there's great stuff there.

"From the director of THE DEVIL INSIDE" doesn't inspire a ton of confidence, though.

Say what you will about that movie, but the commercial success of that movie single-handedly has changed how the industry viewed horror movies ever since then. That movie proved you could release a horror movie outside of it's typical Halloween window and still see massive success.

While I think that's kind of a cool, meta pitch, the original FACES OF DEATH tapes were absolute bottom-of-the-barrel, Z-grade, "Let's make a really quick buck!" garbage.

And yet, the first one was easily top five in our rental rotation in junior high and early high school.

We probably rented it half a hundred times between 1988 and 1992.

This has to be one of the weirdest ideas for a horror film, going to Banana Splits level.

Bring it.

Are you kidding? My puns are the second biggest reason @Brian G. hasn't banned me yet, behind my being so damned cute.

Someone pitched an original cheerleader/slasher movie, and it’s getting released as a Bring It On film, I’m sure.

Don’t care. That’s how SyFy did 12 Monkeys (probably their best show since BS:G). But I’d put money on that being how this came to be.
