Went this Sunday after 8pm and it didn't seem too busy, but that may have been because it's only the 3rd week. It did rain for a bit, but it wasn't too heavy. The longest wait time I saw was 60 minutes for Scarecrow and I think Dead Waters
So last night (I only saw the last 2 mins) AOV wasn't on the big main stage like last year, however I saw the other stage across from Mel's with the lights and whatever equipment down. I'm assumimg it's temporary and they'll eventually be back on their stage. Was this because of Irma or is there...
Left early because our feet hurt and that combined with how tired we were and how humid it was outside made us decide to skip our last 2 houses (The Fallen and Dead Waters). Will be back in a few weeks though.
Houses (In order of favorite to least favorite):
Scarecrow- 10/10 WOW. Facade was...
The locked boxes of the Soul collectors are 6 in total & after this Ash announcement there's only 6 houses left, to make 9 total, correct?
Wishful and very hopeful thinking, that maybe they'll announce a house everyday considering the timer is at 6 days 22hrs and there are 6 boxes. I doubt it...
This may be a little off topic, but I just saw on twitter that Universal is going to reboot the classic monsters as the "Dark Universe". Obviously we know about the Mummy, but they shared details of Johnny Depp being the Invisible Man and Javier Bardem being Frankenstein's monster, so we know...
So last year I heard from someone that we were going to get the Jabowackeez (I'm sure I didn't spell that right) for 2017, but with how awesome the AOV show was and how well they were received, I can't imagine why we wouldn't have them again.
So I was on my phone and typed up this long paragraph, but I accidentally hit the back button so now I'm going to be brief. Haven't speculated before and have only been to 21,22,25, & 26 (21 & 25 being my favs)
I saw some posters for upcoming horror films. I think someone already mentioned...
I haven't gone since opening weekend (going again soon), but is Krampus even in Krampus? I still haven't seen the movie, but as far as I remember the house was only elves and that jack in the box. I think I maybe saw Krampus once but an elf popped out of it so I'm not sure...Did I just miss him...
Did some houses again last night. Ghost Town was more intense last night than opening. Everything overall flowed much nicer than on opening night. I will go in depth and give ratings at another time when I'm not lazy.
Saw the shows and I have to say I really liked Academy of Villains. I think...
We left about 15 minutes before closing after doing Tomb one more time which was a 5 minute wait, walked right in. As we passed by, Halloween was 15 mins, Texas 30 mins. & Krampus 30 mins.
Last night did seem a little off from the times I went last year, but it was the first night. I did get caught outside the Walking Dead and Krampus during the technical difficulties but other than that I didn't have any problems.
My favorite house of the night was Krampus, which I wasn't...
Don't want to say too much bc this isn't the review thread, but I went in all the houses tonight & I think this year all of them are solid. Good thing I can go multiple nights because I was too busy screaming and ducking in every house to even pay much attention. I can say that my favorite house...
Question: If it begins to rain do the scareactors in the scarezones leave? I assume they would. Also, the houses stay open right?
I've never been to the event when it was raining , but my weather app says it's going to rain in Orlando during the even time (hopefully for not too long).
I'm an AHS fan so I'm pretty excited for this. Usually each season has a little piece that connects it to another season. 1 & 5 are connected so I can see why they chose those together. Don't want to really say too much about season 1 since you haven't watced it yet, but I do think it is a lot...
